To celebrate 50 years Cheekwood is lowering admission to 0.50 cents for January. Not sure waht a botanical garden will look like in january after a week of below freezing temps but I'm gonna check it out sometime.

Nashville Greek Festival
Greek Festival this weekend. Sept 6-8 2013!

The Nashville Greek Festival offers a rich, multi-sensory experience of Greek hospitality and culture. Savory cuisine, soulful music, lively dancing, and educational tours transform the church grounds at 4905 Franklin Pike into a three day “glendi” (celebration). Come experience our heritage for yourself and be a part of this year's 26th annual Greek festival.
