I gave up all pop a few months back and have realized how much I DON'T need it... even though I thought I did.  I think the adverse affects of it are much worse than the good stuff about it...

That's great! Chris doesn't drink any carbonation either, and he says it makes him feel better.  I don't smoke, or drink any alcohol, coffe, or tea, so I need my vice, darnit!! I'm glad to have you and Rumy in the clan.  Your garb is gorgeous, and you two are always so much fun and so nice to our kiddos. See you at TRF

I was convince to give up soda at one point (and replaced it with coffee FYI).
I was only drinking Diet Dew at the time but was drinking quite a bit of it.
I lost almost 20 pounds that month and that was the only change I made.
Now I only have an occasional soda when we go out to eat or something like that.

I agree with Chris, it makes me feel good to not drink caffeine.

I had gone over 5 years without a soda and started drinking them again off and on.  About the only time I really had them was in my mixed drinks...hmmm...here is where I kiss my better half's butt and remind all that she is not cheap.....and not easy either!  Whew almost forgot the second part.  I'm sure I'll catch hell when she rolls in and finally sees this post!

Well, seeing as Im Diabetic and have been for 17 years, which means I cant eat sugar, cant smoke, VERY rarely drink anymore, and have to avoid things that are too salty or fried. . . I do believe Im allowed the vice of my Diet Cokes.  Besides, I try to drink two 8 ounce glasses of water for every soda I drink, in addition to the gallon or so I already drink a day.

And babe, Im not gonna kick your butt, Im way too tired.  I thinkn I am going to go take a very hot bath and sleep for about 12 hours.

Mix up a vanilla coke with some spiced rum, and take a big swig.  Yummmmmm

I gotta join that no soda club going on here.  I gave them up years ago for sports and Army.  Now they just make me sick to drink them.  Although I can stand them when mixing with alcohol    But even then, not too many.

Well I think we are just about ready to come to faire.....had to spend too much time away from home at work instead, but I think we have almost everything taken care of .... we even have all of the big ticket items that we were still needing for the baby taken care of ..... Yup we are ready, all I have to do is get mom to sew the legs together  lol.
