I saw in the notes the campground generally opens at 4p on the Thursday. Is this still the case? Past few times I've camped we leave at dark:30 in the morning to get in early and get our spot. If I can just head down Thursday evening, would be soooo much better.

yes, usually this is the case but we don't advertise it too much because it's not TRF's standard listed time

How you pack depends on what you are camping in and what vehicle you will be travelling in. I'm not talking about those of us who have travel trailers (we might seem to have lots of room, but we sometimes forget something). Good purchases are sealable containers that can be stacked. Don't forget to label their contents. If you are setting up after dark, it's a real pain digging through a bunch of containers to find that "I need it now" item.

Just out of curiosity, which local Houston stores (or Online shops) have y'all found to have the best prices for Clear, Seal-able, Stacking Containers?  I'd prefer to have more shallow containers to stack, rather than a few deeper one's that end up overloaded and the handles breaking.

Actually David we have a bunch from Target. The one by Reliant has an entire row of various containers in various sizes, with wheels and without, etc.

Does anyone camp row 4ish?

I believe there are some groups that camp in that area.  Wanna say one of them is a pirate group close to the road?  Not sure who it is though...

Unless I am completely mistaken (entirely possible) row 4 should be about where Red Star camps (one of the sub-clans within Chaos)

that sounds about right and i'm thinking Poseidon is the pirate group in that area too... maybe?

I don't know. I'm only familiar with Red Star because a buddy of mine is in that clan.

Eventually a map would be awesome. I only wish I'd be able to camp more this season...all these people getting married and what not ruins plans...
