Hi all

I am looking for a recommendation for a reputable RV service facility in the Magnolia/Tomball area, or the general vicinity of the Festival (within say 20 miles).  We have a 1996 Fleetwood Bounder that needs to be serviced to get it running so I can camp my happy rear end this year during rehearsal and the run of faire without having to drive the 60 miles to and from Sugar Land each morning and night (Yes, I know.  I'm crazy for driving that each morning and night.).  Its most likely the starter, but we are in need of inspection and overall service to boot.  Appreciate the help.  After all, a well rested Mona Lisa is a very entertaining Mona Lisa.

Grazie et ciao!

I'm revising my request here.  We are looking for a facility in the area that is equipped to mechanically service a vehicle this size:

Hi Tudor Diva!

I know of a dealer in the Waller area called Toppers.  They are on 290.  We were going to purchase from there but found something my hubby and I could finally both agree on at Terry Vaughn, which has a location in Spring on 45.  There is also a place called Camperland which is north of The Woodlands.

Not sure if they handle a vehicle of this size, but if not, they might recommend someone.

Happy Camping!  ;D

Trailer Life Directory has an online subset of the directory and software at http://www.trailerlifedirectory.com/Default.aspx .

The "Show" dropdown includes service centers.

FMCA # F390004 and a fellow Bounder owner.

We're looking at a slightly similar situation in that ours has been sitting for about a year and we need to get it ready for the trip to Northern California Renaissance Faire.

Sorry that I can't give you specific suggestions, but we're in Southern California.

Thanks all for the help.  I think we're going to take it to Demontrond in Conroe.  Its been sitting for two years in our grandparents' backyard and needs much work, including mechanical.

See everyone in a couple of months.

I forgot to mention that there's a Bounder Yahoo group at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/bounder/ .

They are really quite helpful and there are so many members that you should get some good responses.  It's also good for helping with problems.

off topic a bit....I'm working the TRF the first time ever this year and have a small travel trailer can you tell me how the parking/camping goes for employee's? is it safe to leave the camper there through the week? I hate to have to haul it home every monday. I haven't got my forms yet but trying to get organized.
