Steampunk for Labor Day?

I've been collecting accessories for a while and Tom ordered me a Blonde Swan hat and goggles while we were at Pennsic so I'm planning to wear steampunk garb for Labor Day. Anyone care to join me?

I'm still figuring out what I can modify from my existing garb, what I feel like making from scratch, and what I'll go ahead and buy ready made. I'm not feeling so hot today so I've spent hours online looking for ideas. lol

I think it would be fun to dress steampunk!  I've been surfing the net for ideal,  and I really have no idea which way to go with it.  Anyone have some suggestion?

There are sooooo many different possibilities that I am having a hard time narrowing down the choices myself! LOL
I've got one outfit nearly complete that is more dark formal Neo-Victorian that is the one I'll probably wear with the new top hat on Labor Day. I've also got some more casual things that would work for an explorer and/or airship crew member. Then I've been thinking about the sky pirate thing since that's traditionally a pirate themed weekend. Um, yeah, so I might do steampunk all weekend.
(One of the benefits of joining the SCA is that now gives me a time and place for historical accuracy and the faire can be all about fun!)
