The colors are wonderfull, they really helped to brighten a gray day!  ;D

The color is certaintly appropriate to both -

England's sun rose and set with Elizabeth, and our fair is a bright and sunny realm with Madge Estes on the throne.

Happy 10th, Madge!!  :D

Happy 10th year to you Queen.  I hope everyone else at MiRF knows how lucky we are to have you Madge Estes.

I've been to a lot of other faires, and no other queen I've seen can even come close to your beauty, regal presence, and your occasionally naughty (pub sing mirror) sense of humor.  I hope we are lucky enough to have you for another 10 years and beyond, because I for one cannot imagine Hollygrove with any other in your role.

Nothing better in life than enjoying a pint amongst friends...Huzzah!

Madge Estes

Thank you all very much.

I am very pleased in the way the new dress pops color, even on a grey day like we experienced this weekend.  I can't wait til the sleeves and embellishments are finished.  My dear friend constructed exactly what I was looking for.  HUZZAH!

As you said to me, your pearl necklace I gave you will certainly go well with your beautiful gown. :)
The more you worry, the longer it will take.

Grammercy!!!

I have to say....Thank You Madge for giving me the opportunity to make this gown.  Also I would like to say thank you to everyone who was involved in the creation of this gown.  From the fabric hunt to brainstorming to finding the perfect beads for the forepart to the sewing of the beads on the forepart.  I certainly did not make this gown what it is, on my own.

Madge you make that dress glow from the inside out.

And now, the next question:  Can I find the tin to match the dress and make it? ;)

Which reminds me I need to remake Juniper Belle's Chevron puppet.
You do not need a patch or badge on your sleeve to show you have honor.

Whoever thought Orange would be the new Purple for Royalty??

Lovely gown and unique design to boot!!  HUZZAH!!!

It may read orange on the monitors, in person it is a delicious crossweave of gold and red that shimmers and changes colors as it moves and is hit by the light. and ("ugh") water.

Madge Estes

Wayward Wench is right.  It looks rather orange in the pics because it had been raining off and on all day, and the dress was damp.  If you look at the first photo, you can see a brighter bit of gold on the underskirt... much more indicative of the color.

The dress is stunning and seems to handle all sorts of weather without so much as a blink. I love it.

Could somebody go through and kind of point out who is who in the group pictures? I know who Madge Estes and Sir Clisto are; that's about it. I know that a lot of them are members here but I can't put the online names to the faces :)
Sometimes you can't wait for the storm to pass; you have to just get out there and dance in the rain.
