Chris, that's FANTASTIC!!  Where are the pix of it being worn?  ;)

As per your request...

Unfortunately, this coat won't be worn to faire. The only pirate themed event we do, he's in the mud show. If he wears this while he's covered in mud, I will probably cry.

Taffy Saltwater

Oh, noes!  No mud on the pretty Captain's coat!  Beautiful work!
Sveethot!

Oh, he looks like Samwise! And dashing in the coat. So if not to Fair... where does one wear a smashing green frock coat in Canada these days?!

KARAOKE!

Whoo hoo the Pirate coat is done!  Ok so it is missing a little hand sewn on trim but it is done.  Sadly the Pink pirate has decreed no pictures until the grand unveiling at Scarby this weekend.
I don't know who is more jazzed about it me or him.  I caught him wearing it last night and "Twirling" in it to get the skirting to "swish".

I took it to work yesterday to work on the trim at lunch break.  I let it hang in my office so I could hem it when I got home. I kept having people walk by, then double back to have a 2nd look, then walk off shaking their heads.  I finally had to put a note on it saying "Yes it is THAT pink. And yes I made it myself, and NO i won't make your kids halloween costume."  At least people liked it.  ;D
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Alright!   ;D  I have finished 2 new outfits for the Dirt Fairy!  Her new Pirate Garb which turned out great!  AND..her new Spring Flower Fairy costume...complete with cellophane wings!   ;D  I am pretty proud of my new creations!  Both will be debuting this weekend at Scarby!  Stay tuned for pics if you won't be at Opening Weekend!   ;D

A pink pirate coat! How wonderful is that!  Pics of the debut, please!

You, too, julessweetie - hooray for fairies!
Sveethot!

auntiegiggles

Here is the gown that ALadyandFae created for me for last year.  There are still a few things that need to be done but as we all know garb is never really ever done.   ;D

I absolutely adore the colors of that gown!

Giggles made all of the jewlery.  The earrings, necklace and girdle are all her own creations.  =D
