You're not OCD!  You're CDO.

It's like OCD but in alphabetical order!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I love it!  ;)

Thimbleberries the fabric design company is located right here in the same town I live in. My Mom used to do a lot of sewing for their photographs and books.

Yes, the thimbleberry is found in MN, up North and they are edible. They are shaped like a thimble, not a raspberry.

Since I'm fairly limited on what I can fit this season, my two bits of garb are complete.  Both ensembles are from the Margo Anderson pattern line: a comfort ensemble and the Tudor kirtle.

Those both look wonderful.

And you look blooming!   :)

Well, my lovely wife finished her first chemise this morning. It's Frankensteined from McCall's 5401 blouse pattern. Next up is the bodice/skirt to go with it.

That is so period looking and nice!

Alisoun, I am so thrilled to see you wearing your finished ensembles, and they look FABULOUS!! I love that kirtle to pieces.

You know, of course, that we're all eagerly awaiting the baby's garb, as well.  ;D

What does the blue undergown from the comfort ensemble look like? I have never seen that piece shown by itself.

All very lovely!  Alisoun, both of your new sets of garb are beautiful, and look so comfy and easy to move around in, and Dustin, for a first chemise I'd say your wife has done a wonderful job!  I love the ruffled neckline...  :)

Thanks very much!

Gem, I can't wait to get started on the baby's garb.  She'll be my little wiggly dress up doll!  Here are some shots of the undergown before it was hemmed.  I was trying to avoid a huge fabric bill, so I used some purple linen that I had on hand.  I also went with gold grommets to avoid severe hand cramps  :) .

Good job on your garb, you look beautiful, Alisoun!

The chemise turned out nicely!

Alisoun,
Pretty and well done.

Ok I have sewn several things.  But I have never made a pair of bloomers until today.  I made some changes to the pattern, but was still happy with the outcome.  Although the bloomers are for my Mom and not me.
Please excuse the picture.  Couldnt find the camera and had to use the phone to take a pic.

May the stars always shine upon you and yours.
