Lady S... you DID take into account that your bust size will be increasing over the next few months, right?  ;)  :D

It's already gone up 2 sizes, and I made room for 1 more.  The red dress I might get more time out of.  Right now I just want something that will get me to last weekend scarby.  Besides with a good bra I think it will work just fine. :)

Besides, worst case, I go back and add an under arm gusset to add a little more room.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Oh, good... Always important to leave room for growth!  Well, at certain times, anyway...  :D

Becky, I LOVE your new play outfit, and for a first effort, it's absolutely amazing!!!  For any effort it's gorgeous, but drafting your own bodice pattern from an existing garment is generally a pretty daunting prospect for even experienced seamstresses, on occasion!  Congratulations!  :)

Lookie! My lovely revamped nobles garb! Sleeves are sewn on correctly, New overskirt, Kirtle beaded, new pretty girdle, Beaded bodice.

All I have to do now, Is hem it. And it will be worn tomorrow. Weee!

Don't mind the red shirt. Heh, Chemise was in the wash.

And I made a pretty necklace to go with it. :D

I only have two photos of in progress beading. But I think you'll get the idea.

That is the underskirt/kirtle material and beading. It took forever to do.

And this is the bodice beading. Will be adding smaller round green beads onto the vines next week.

Great revamp, Devangelon!  Make certain somebody gets a fabulous photo of you wearing it tomorrow, because we want to see it in its full glory!!

Nice revamp Devangelon! I love reworking an old piece; it's like getting new clothes but at a quarter of the price, lol!

Alright! You asked for them.

Me and my friend. She made her own dress. We play sisters at the faires normally.

Cheering at the joust. The woman in the back ground is our queen.

And I'm off to the faire for another day!

There's been some lovely stuff posted in the last week or so.  I've been a tad busy myself.  Finally finished Vicky's cage crinoline.  Bit OT, but it is now FINISHED!

We pop-riveted the hoops together!

I love cage crinolines and the enormous dresses that go on top of them too of course :) I absolutely adore those tiers!

Do you mind if I ask how you did the layers? I have a skirt that is like that but with waay more ruffles and it weighs a TON I want to do another but I would like to cut some of the weight.

What is the circumference of the hem? I'm trying to think of ways to make an enormous support to re-do my Kaylee skirt... I need it to be this big:
