LadySeasan, that hat is adorable! I love way it's just a little floppy but still stiff enough to hold its shape. And the feathers are great  :D

thanks!

since I didn't have any interfacing or hat wire. I used this random canvas like fabric I had for the inside and...PIPE CLEANERS for the brim lol!

First day of the PARF! It was shut down early because of the rain, but I think our garb will survive. It's currently drying.

Oh I love the family set!   His slops look terrific!  and you and your daughter are equally lovely.. Her bonnet is precious!

LadySeasan

this is the husbands garb.  I am so thankful to Alisoun and her mother for letting me come over and finish it up.  I was having a crisis. My eyelets were stupid, I had no energy to sew on the clasps, it was a crazy night!

Now I will go to say this. When I completed the doublet, it was nearly too small for my husband.  The fronts did not close at all.  He tried it on, and it is slightly too big! My husband and his amazing shrinking body!

And here is me! 39weeks2days pregnant, and ready for faire. The overgown was lent to me by Alisoun :)  As she says, "the sisterhood of the traveling gown"

The veil for my fairy tale lady outfit:

And my ruff:

This is the first ruff I've ever made. It isn't great--not by a long shot--but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out for a first attempt. It's passable, seeing as it'll be mostly obscured by my big poofy sleeves and my veil.

All such wonderful stuff. Keep up the good work.

I've been slowly making pieces of garb for a friend of mine. This is the complete look. (I hope, cuz I hate sewing trigger)

That is *really* magnificent!! Can we have some details about it? Pattern/s, pieces, etc?

Yes.. that whole ensemble is so dramatic in the black.   You don't see lots of capes and they really are striking additions!  Beautiful!
