I promised soon as I had some pictures I would post over here.  Here is at least shot of the baby smock.

The Bodice is left over silk shantung, the skirt is left over blue Kona Cotton, from one of my dresses. The neck binding and sleeves are from a bunch of dark gold silk satin I aquired from an estate sale.  I don't have a picture of the bonnet yet.  I tried it on the fuzzlet, and though it is a bit big (made to fit 16 pounds, she is only 13 right now), but I think it will make a nice outfit for Scarby this year. :)

Now off to finish the baby pink pirate.

I think the fuzzlet will need to have her photo taken with a dashing wizard.... now, if we only knew one...

There might be one or two around she could have her picture taken with.  ;D Thankfully Fuzzlet loves being around people and new things.  I may have to make a decorative bib or something to go with it though.  Hmmm...

I've been able to eke out a little sewing time over the past month, here is my red wool kirtle.

Hand sewn save for the interlining bits, finger loop braid for the lacing cords, self bound hem, hand bound eyelets. It is lined just in the bodice where I cut up an old shift that was about ready for the rag pile.

Love that red kirtle!    It looks wonderful!

Jenn, I think this one is my favorite!! Really love the coif and cuffs, too.  :D  But it needs a peacock blue embroidered... uh, thingummie to go with it!  ;D

Merlin the Elder

...thingummie... is that a seamstress' technical term?

Yup, it's the ting that goes over the stuff...  ;D

We seamstresses come up with our own terms for tings all then time.  ;)  ;)

Wait--is this the Shetland wool from Fabric Mart? It looks a lot lighter weight than I'd expect; it definitely has a really lovely, soft drape to it.

Thanks  Isabella!

Gem, yes a peacock thingymawhatisis should go perfectly.  ;) The wool is the gabardine that went on sale around the same time when you were looking at the grey shetland.

Oh CS that is another beauty.  You just keep rolling them out.   Of course your figure helps make them also look so perfect, but your talent amazes me.   So how is the green silk coming? (you knew I would ask)

CenturiesSewing

Amy I got the under kirtle done and am working on mocking up the bodice and sleeves before I cut into the silk.  :) I know my deadline is getting a bit tight for getting everything finished.

I haven't had time to even think about what hat to make!

I'm waiting for some more pictures of the dress but here is at least one!

I'm the one laughing in the blue and pink.  :-)

A blurry side view.   I promise, more pictures once more are uploaded.

LadyStitch

I can finally add a couple things to the finished gallery.  I finally have the baby pink pirate outfit done.

Now the question is do I post the picture of the baby smock I did for fuzzlet, or do I wait until this weekend or even scarby for you to see her in it?  ;D
