Here is my new noble-ish gown. The hoop is sitting oddly forward in this picture and I need to make a couple of adjustments but otherwise I love it. I will post a close up of the sleeve in the "sleeve eye candy" thread.  :)

That's my girl!  LOVE YOU!!!!  LOVE YOUR GOWN!!!!  See, isn't all that pesky hand sewing SOOOO worth it?   ;D  Psst, nice baubles, too.   ;)

Your gown is FABULOUS, MG!  Perfectly well suited to a trip to Colorado, methinks.  :)

Just call me "Your Grace"

Thank you for the compliments! I am very excited to finally post something in this thread!

Here is a closer view of the sleeve cap and the beautiful necklace made for me by Lady Giggles. She used pieces of my grandmother's jewelry to create it.

Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Ser Niall

I love your Big Damn Hero badge.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

After much delay, here is my very first Irish dress.  If I were to do it over again, there are a few things I would do differently (I've already had to go back and re-do the bottom two eyelets; they were too small), but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Marietta Graziella

Well done, Nissa!  I love the Irish dress style. I have made 4. Once you have the pattern, they come together quickly and are so easy to wear.
