Woo-hoo!!  I finished my pirate-era ensemble a couple of weeks ago, but it's taken me this long to get the pictures and diary together!

I'm really, really proud of this--it's my first complete historically accurate outfit!

Details are here, in my dress diary.

Can I get a huzzah?!

Gem, how marvelous!  I loved the dress diary, especially the first picture.  What wonderful composition!

I just finished making this dress and can't wait to post pictures:

I took the pics about 10 minutes ago, but hubby just took off with the camera and the kids.  As soon as they get home I'll upload and post the pictures!
*squee!*

I love everyone's work on here.  Wish i could sew like all of you. You are all so talented ! Kicking myself now for  not  keeping up with the sewing lessons when i was a child.  ( No, i was more into dancing, sports, and horsebackriding ). You live and your learn ! :)

Verymerryseamstress that gown is gorgeous ! Love the color.

My sooooo close to finished "Lady with Unicorn" dress:

(I need to finish and attach guards on shoulders, skirt front and skirt hem, and I need accessories like a partlet, jewellery and golden belt). I've worked day and night on this project. It was started on May 22.nd, so the progress has been excellent. it usually take me months to make just a bodice.

The dress wasn't all laced up in the right side, that's why the shoulders are uneven. It's not like that when properly laced...

ETA: More to come when finished.
