What a gorgeous gown - I like the way the overskirt is open on the side.  Beautiful work.

I finally got around to taking a picture of my Narnia recreation I finished months ago in cotton (for the warm summer months).

And the dress I finished last summer.  Sadly, it was rainy and cold the day I wore it and my blue shawl stained a bit of the dress, but I don't mind it so much I think.  It adds a bit of charm and worn quality to it.  Makes it sweet.  I drafted the pattern myself and am rather proud of the bodice.  It only has two lines of boning near the laces.  While I have a corset on in this picture, I usually wear it without and it still maintains the shape.

The color of your Narnia dress is wonderful.  Both your creations look great.

Finally done and had its first wearing at the Mosi fair

I used the Tudor Tailor as a guide for the back pleating but didn't make them as deep.

Can see the shape of the French hood a bit better here
