Pittsburgh Irish rock band Dublin Rising (featuring the King's Bagpiper, Seán O'Donnell, on electric bass, backing vocals and bagpipes) is helping Over the Bar Bicycle Cafe celebrate the half-way to St. Patrick's day. The show is Sept. 19th at 10:30 p.m., and the cover is $3. I know most will be tired from a hard day's play in Moorelandshire, but if anyone's inclined or knows someone who would enjoy hearing traditional and contemporary Irish songs in a great setting, we'd love to see you there.

WHO: Dublin Rising
WHAT: Half-way to St. Patrick's Day
WHERE: OTB Bicycle Cafe 2518 E. Carson St. (South Side of Pittsburgh)
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, 10:30 p.m. until we stumble out
WHY: Irish music (From "Tell Me Ma" to "Death Valley Queen," plus originals)
HOW: Walk in, pay $3, buy a beer, sing and dance
