My first patterned Costume

I have never used a pattern I've always free handed all my costumes, since most where middle ages stuff no problem. Now cutting out a pattern and following the crytic instuctions was a nightmare! after four days I finally finished it!
this isn't the best picture of me. I am not good at the self portrait thing. The skirt is wonky in the picture since I didn't center it but it has four panel alternating green and brown.

ooo I like the leafy green fabric.

Pattern instructions make my head spin, more often than not I dont pay much attention to them.

My second and third costume...I think that will get me through the fair along with my SCA costumes.



my third, I may still make a over skirt but as of right now I'm done :)


Sorry I look so bad, I have been dog sick and self photography is ify at best :)
