  Here is some quick background.
Aside from working in the family business, I own a laser cutter and engraver.
I cut and engrave custom logos, names images etc on just about any material.
One of my big customers is another boat manufacturer, I cut all their company logos and custom logos for their customers.
I get an easy peasy order the other day  .

"Cut this name, here is the material, its two colors; grey and white, white is the background color."

No sweat, I cut it, I'm very proud of myself, ups it back to her.
Today I get a phone call that I ''screwed up the logos".
She wanted grey with white background "yes I know thats what I sent you".

Long story short apparently in her dictionary white background means she wants the letters in white with a grey background.
My head is still spinning about that one.

I see 1-3 customer service emails a day that range from straight forward to laughable to downright scary.

I did a bout of engraving at my company and that kind of misunderstanding is not as common as it should be.  The line that says "Description (Exactly as the label should read):" Just doesn't seem clear enough for some.  >sigh<

I work for a small school district in there print shop and there isn't a week that dosn't go by that i look at one of our work orders a teacher fills out and say to my co-worker "and this person teaches our kids?" It is scary how some can't fill out a simple form.
