prayer for my uncle

Very late last night my uncle was taken to the emergency room at Plano Baylor Hospital for severe abdominal pain. Turns out his intestines had twisted. His condition worsen and they transported him before day break today to UT Western Hospital (former St Paul Hospital) in Dallas. He was placed in ICU and put on a respirator because his lungs had fill up with fluid. They informed the family that they'll have to wait for him to improve before they can perform surgery. He was on blood thinners.
Got a phone call a bit ago from my cousin that his condition has gotten worse they are taking him into surgery. They can no longer wait for improvement and he may not make it thru surgery.

It was my uncle's 76 birthday this weekend. All eight of his children with their children in tow were in town to celebrate. Now they sit in the waiting room praying that their father makes it thru surgery.

Please,  my uncle and the family can use some prayers and wishes of strength at this time.
