Thanks for the welcome, Yeah im a camper. Been doing that for a couple years with a group of friends and enjoying every minute of it.

Welcome James - Glad to have ya.  We won't be out for Barbarian or Highland Fling as far as I know, this year.  But if you make it out to camp closing weekend be sure to look us up.  We camp directly behind Chaos at Row 0.  I look forward to meeting ya out at faire soon.

Hey everyone! Here's one of me pre-braided hair (which is what I normally look like) and then one with my husband. And yes, I'm working on getting him into garb...he's pretty new to all of this!





We were there Halloween weekend, but I'm not sure when we'll make it back this season if at all.

Ehh give him time. he will succumb to it all. you should try to rental place at the gate next time. That way he wont have to buy it first.

Start him out small, buy him a hat, or a shirt and before you know it, he'll be HOOKED! And won't even know it.

And James, does your group have a designated area in which you all camp, or do y'all camp wherever happens to be convenient at the time?  I certainly would like to extend an invite to you and your fiance and the rest of the gang to all stop by McLotofus and also Phoenix Risen (I couldn't pick just one Clan, I luffs them both too much!) and say hello. We're all loads of goofy fun and love the opportunity to meet more fellow RF rennies!

Lovely pictures! I love that neckalace you have on, by the way! Was it homemade or purchased somewhere? (I LOVE feathers!)

I certainly hope y'all will be able to make it out to faire again before the season is over!

Yeppers...I made the necklace after we put up the tent at the clan McLotofus camp. Just beads and the peacock feather. It's turning into a big hobby!

And I'll try to get the DH to go at least one more time before the season is over, but I'm not promising. If we do get out there, I'll post in the "who, what, when" forum!

Yeah we just kind of camp where ever there is a spot that is open. Usually we are close to the on-site store and our camp group has grown this year, so we might be needing a bigger area than usual. Ill stop by with my fiance and some friends to come meet everyone, thanks for the invite. We are just as fun as everyone else, i earned a nick name by the bon fire as "Whiskey boy" a couple years back.

I'm impressed!  The only thing we managed to make after setting up the tent was a drink. 

It was beautiful, though.  The necklace that is.  The earrings, too.  Great job!
