Now that the tabs of my Simplicity corset are bound, I'm ready to start binding the rest of it!  Well, "ready" is relative.  I guess I mean that binding it is the next step.  ;)

I'm wondering if there's an order to this.  Where should I start?  How do I manage the ends, etc?

Here's what the thing looks like, if it helps (and the lower edge will be tabbed).

Any tips before I launch myself headlong into this?

I would start at one of the center top backs. The trim I used was attached to bias tape. I did the upper first then trimmed the lower. I machine stitched it on the front an hand stitched it when folded over to the inside.

Can I just say how cool it looks?

It's PINK!

And it's gonna be lovely.

If you are binding the back opening, start and finish at the bottom corners.

No advice, but I just have to say I love that fabric, and the corset looks great!

How I bind a corset is by starting with the Center Back opening of Center Front, depending on how it will lace. Then I do the rest of it. The edges look more finished that way.

I bookmarked this video a while back. She makes it look so easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvzC28r0cPM
