I am having horrible computer problems. I have a friend coming to the rescue tomorrow afternoon. I hope my magick box can be saved. Until then call me if you need me.
I won't be online much- or at all unless this gets fixed!.  See you all at TRF.

Bonnie, I think you should post a "Want to sell Nargles" post in the Buy / Sell / Trade Forum! Maybe there is some evil wizard out there who would take them off your hands! Then again, an evil wizard wouldn't be on our boards, would they?

Hope all is well soon and you are nargle free!

You know we had fewer nargles before summer..... wonder if it is the hot weather that causes them to breed????

Dracconia

Nargles attacked my magic box right before school started, I hope that your friend is a grand enchanter that can run them off!

Alas! My hard drive crashed. R.I.P. my magick box is no more. Not sure what can be saved- if anything. For now I am on lord A's old slow magick box. I am sort of back in touch. Going to Fry's next week to either get more memory for this old dinosaur- or see what else I can do. Drat.
Yes! I am having a sale on my well used nargles! Cheap! Free!  come and get em!

At this point- I just want the Nargles to leave me alone! I hope my friend can save a few things from my hard drive. I had lots of pictures I treasured. Sigh.

Bring the dead computer we may have a drive to put in it... no promises but it is a possibility!!!!Cat

Queen Bonnie

My friend has my tower- but will return it. The hard drive is totally fried. It was a Dell. Nothing can be saved. I will bring it down when he returns it.

Bonnie, You might be surprised at just what can be done on those magic boxes... Mike is a Computer Wizard who keeps learning magic spells to retrieve lost causes and move it to another drive... He thinks we have a drive to put in it so your box will be back up and running.... If not we may have a spare magic box sitting around!!!! He is always lugging them home and fixing them! Now he is collecting dead and dying laptops!!! What next<rolling eyes>

Queen Bonnie

Magick boxes are not my area of expertise. My friend was  a It person. He said my hard drive was a goner- but I will bring it along when I come. I am sad to lose all my pictures and address book etc. No idea how to set it up here either.  Lord A was so good at all that.

I got the dead magick box back today. my friend put the memory in this computer. It helps. He thinks cat hair might have caused the hard drive to fry. Cat hair? This place is swimming in cat hair! LOL! The royal felines will wear hairnets in the computer room from now on! The 2 long haired kitties are not with me any more. That might help.

It also might help if the computer can be put up on a table or shelf.  There's usually less dust or hair up in the air.   ;)  :D

Good idea!  I think Sabu my fuzzy black cat slept near the tower sometimes. I had no idea cat hair could get in and clog things up. Glad I have this as backup. It is my life line to the realm!
