Hey folks, I realize that I still haven't gotten my photos up from All Hallows Eve.  I'm having issues getting things uploaded to my photobucket account and am not sure if I need to update software or what not, but I haven't had much of a chance to sit down and fix it. I have some of the photos up on facebook, but even those aren't all of my photos.

I am in the stage of considering changing to a different hosting site but when I do, it's going to take awhile because I have three years of photos to move, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it is.

Sorry for the inconvenience, there are some photos that I'd love people to have.   

When I went looking for a hosting site that allows large images to be uploaded, I found that a Flickr Pro account ($25/yr) has a 20 MB per photo, or 500 MB per video limit.  Some of the 24-Bit .TIFF files from my Film Scanner are slightly larger than 20 MB, so I have to reduce them a bit when I convert them using minimal-loss .JPG compression.  But my Nikon D90 (12.3 MPixel) DSLR produces .JPG files that are up to about 5 or 6 MB, so the full size 4288 x 2848 pixel images can be uploaded to my Flickr account.

Celtic Christmas Friday, Instead of dealing with the 'Black Friday' shopping madness, we went to TRF on Friday since the crowds would be smaller. But of course this was the largest ever Friday attendance, almost 38,000, biggest single day this year!

I got a few snaps early, but gave up and left a bit early when it got so crowded....
