I found 1 cell phone opening weekend, and called "mom" who asked me not to turn it in to lost and found because she could still get hold of the group and have them meet me to get it back.  Couple of minutes later, got a call and coordinated pickup.  Working conventions, I've made it a habit to call either "mom" or "dad" in the phone (or last number if those aren't listed) to let them know where to pick up found phones.

Had one person try to accuse me of stealing their mug Highland Fling - it was on a bench after everybody had left Odeon and was taking it to lost and found when they caught up with me (about 200 feet from lost and found).

Maybe I'm just a "do-gooder", since I also turned in 4 ticket scalpers over the season.

I lost a wench.......can't remember her last name. She worked at the concession booth near the Odeon, wonder if anyone knows her? :-)

Well, if you don't give your wench proper care, she's easily taken by another.  ;)

Soooo... AHE Sunday I somehow lost my cellphone when the little pouch I carry it in came unclipped from my belt pouch strap, and as soon as I realized it (about an hour or so later) Grov called it from his phone, and lo and behold, who should answer but... BLUE!!!  Seems that someone found it and turned it in to Lost & Found, who proceeded to call the last number dialed, which was Seamus in Florida, who in turn called Blue and had her go pick it up... talk about 6 degrees of separation... ROFL  We went and found her by the foundry to pick up the phone, where she then introduced my daughter to deep fried PB&J sammiches...  Thanks, Blue, for everything...  ;)  :D  And thank you Seamus, for thinking quickly... saved me a big pain in the... wallet!  :P

I also lost a pretty cool Pirate favor, all in gold charms, with a skull, sword and an anchor all attached to a ships wheel, with a red and a blue bead connecting a couple of the charms to the wheel.  It was the last one I had left, and it was supposed to be my daughter's, so if anyone came across it she'd love to have it back...

Wish that had happened to me.  I lost a phone the same way and never got it back. :(

That's such a shame!  It might have been because mine was a cheap prepaid worth nothing, and hardly even had any minutes left on it...  LOL  It would be nice to think that people only have the best of intentions, but sadly that's just not always the case...
