Yeah...your foodstuffs is much better than ours..and as our main food guy is detained til Friday night. SO our camp may go hungryish..but tis okay. A little suffering is good for a person. SO! Have fun and remember, everything in moderation, including moderation. Gluttony abounds and make Bacchus proud.

I'm thinking a certain rodent might be angling for an invitation to dinner...  LOL

Mouse... everyone is welcome to join in the feast.  Just bring something (large enough for lots of people) with you to share, and let Blue know how many of you there will be.  You might also see of there is something else you can help with, like a table or extra chairs... something like that.  Look on the first page of this thread and see if there's a need that has yet to be met.

I'll be thinking of you all on the day, and wishing we were there with you.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, fairemily!!!  :)  I miss you all...

Sadly I am not in a position to bring anything, other than a mouth and this mouse of a man is not a mooch. Say that five times fast. So feast ye all well and thank you for inviting me, but perhaps another time. I shall visit you this coming weekend soon enough. I even promise to bring me own hooch!

Oh puhlease!!!  ::)  Not even a Mouse has ever been turned away from McLot, especially at Thanksgiving!  If all you bring is yourself, at least you've brought something!  Besides... you realize that no one here really believes you actually exist, don't you?!?  How are you supposed to prove yourself unless you show up?  And you still don't get the "real" stamp until you've sat at the fire, eaten something and had a drink...   :P

Mouse, quit being a dummy and come for Thanksgiving Dinner. I need someone to help taste test my food so that i'm sure I'm not poisoning the clan.

Wow. I am overcome with comradery and happiness for having met such people as these. But sadly, while enthused about the substance of the people I have met, I won't be there til Friday evening. Which, me and some of my ilk are planning on coming over Friday at the earliest, especially one of my better looking friends..all you single peoples, if indeed you exist within that group. She finds men in kilts, quite appealing by the by. At the very least me, since I will be hard pressed to find the camp saturday night, as the festivities will start early for me...I do so love my liquid bread.

Cheese is a stereotype..unlness of course its guinness cheese, but as the McManus Brothers said "...you'd have better luck with a beer." I prefer the beer.Guinness and Blue Moon Belgium Wheat are my Kryptonite. And shame on you TRF forum for tryng to spell check Kryptonite. Shame.

Ahhh... so now the truth comes out!  Not even going to BE there?!?  And here you had everyone thinking you'd be huddled, starving, around your miserable, sputtering little fire, chewing on sticks to survive... when you're probably going to be hitting every Rodent Revel in town, or at least the one whut spawned ya!!!  Tricksy little rat, ain'tcha?!?   :P   :D

In all seriousness... there will be warm welcomes for you and yours (kilted or not, but kilted is always better!) whenever you manage to make an appearance, since my clan members always have a ready smile, hug and alcoholic beverage waiting for those who can prove they're old enough to handle each!

I look forward to the pictures...  heheh

I HAD plannedon being there..and as for chewing on sticks to survive, the rest of my group may be. The guy who was to provide the mainbulk was detained by work, but they will manage. We always do, quite well. But thank you. As for me, HA! I will be stuffing myself on leftovers. So, seems I would of been fat and happy which ever the outcome. And my fires dont sputter! Take that back! By the way, i love the fact that one, you guys call me Mouse and my friends are JUST getting into the swing of that, two, I am known as Mouse, Rat, Rodent. All of these fit me thinks. I will answer to whichever :) I can handle me some hugs and smiles, but for all the germanic and celtic in me, I am a lightweight. So, possibility that depending on how long I stay, you may get your pictures early. See you there Rani. Oh, has he given you that response yet like you asked for?

Unfortunately, you won't be seeing me... since I have not the funding to get there this time.  All Hallows was my one and only visit this season, more's the pity...  And I see I'll have to confine my requests to a more private delivery system from now on, oh, whiskered one!!!  LOL

Enjoy the hugs, smiles, booze and whatever food will be shoved into your hands when you get there!  Hug a few people for me, ok?

(sputter, splut, flicker, ssszzz...)  :P

So, as it comes down to the wire our plans have changed (as usual).  After a funeral, a major surgery and other mishaps in our extended family, it looks like we will not be able to make the dinner Thursday night as planned.  We are still trying to work out making it out Friday to camp and attend faire on Saturday.  I'm crossing my fingers on this.  Samedi MIGHT not be able to come, but my mom and I are set on making it happen one last time before the season ends. (Even if it means dragging along faire virgin relatives with us!)  We've never attended Closing weekend.  And, we're determined.

I'm really saddened that we can't make the pot luck.  It sounds like it's going to be great fun and food.  Ahh well, maybe next year.  I wish you all the best time ever!
