Has anyone ever bought from a site called http://armstreet.com/ ? I love their Templar outfit for my upcoming Templar character ( distressed options and cotton! Hooray! ) and some of their dresses for women . I'm not a fan of corsets/bodices right now, but I still want support and shape and they have some, in my mind, very well designed dresses. They have good feedback on their website and on Facebook, but still wanted to check with ya'll.

I do have experience with Armstreet.  I think the clothing is made in the Ukraine. I have purchased 5 women's and girls' outfits for my wife and daughters and a pair of pants for me.  The clothing is made to size and arrives fairly quickly.  Everything looks pretty good, though some of the clothing is costume-y, i.e. no lining, accents like gold and black ribbon sewn over seams, etc..  Flax linen is a common material. The linen items are pretty nice, lightweight, cool, pretty durable. Some of the accessory items (hats, overtunics, bodices, "belts", aprons) are either cheaper quality or seem like afterthoughts- our aprons and hats have required tweaking to make them fit comfortably and look good.  I have not bought any of the other items from the site but lots of it looks great- shoes, belts, armor...

The service from Armstreet is stellar.  "Sasha", the person I have dealt with twice, responds quickly and has caught errors in my measurements (rather than just sending poorly-fitting clothing).  All in all I would recommend for summer faire garb, though I would have reservations if you were looking to buy a heirloom.

Thanks to both of you! The only thing that really has my eye is the Templar tunic and thats only due to the distressing option, everything else I am pretty sure I can find someone to sew for me for the same price but better workmanship.

I bought two hat blanks off her that arrived in the mail today that I've had fun blocking into a tall cavalier hat and a small floppy peasant hat. Really nice stuff and good prices too -- the cavalier hat blank is fur felt was on special sale for $24 and the small hat is wool felt on clearance at $7.50. Can't beat that.

We have ordered a number of items from http://stores.renstore.com/ over the years (I believe they used to be called Chivalry Sports). The 'off-the-rack' items we have ordered were always as advertised and seemed to be pretty well made. The garb has held up really well and we still wear it.

We only had to exchange one item and that was because of an error on our part. We called them up to get a return authorization and they were very nice about it and they had a replacement item in the mail to us pretty quickly.

I'm not sure if they do any kind of custom work (I'm thinking everything they sell is pretty much 'off-the-rack' garb, as I call it). They don't seem to keep a lot of stuff on hand but they seem to replenish fairly quickly.

Didn't see that one on any of the lists in this thread but as our experiences with them have been positive I thought I'd give them a mention here.
