Rowen - have you actually used or know anyone that has used Polyhymnia?  I admit I fell in love with the pics on that site a few years ago, but after asking on the board here and no one had heard of them, I was a little warned off.

No I don't.  I can't afford that kind of work, although I drool over it!   The simpler stuff is not that expensive-but I don't know how much they charge nowadays-the pics and prices haven't changed in a long time.....

We just got an order from http://www.etsy.com/shop/redthreaded, and it's really good. The workmanship is solid, and the woman who runs the shop was a pleasure to work with. Well worth checking it out!

I did not scroll through all nine pages so I apologize if these are repeats:
www.dresslikeapirate.com (good for random stuff, haven't been TOTALLY thrilled with some of the clothing items I've gotten from here but they've updated a lot since I've purchased from them)

www.piratefashions.com

this site I LOVE it's an ebay store and I've gotten my favorite corset and many other things here: http://stores.ebay.com/FAIRE-LADY-DESIGNS/_i.html?rt=nc&_sid=395636&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1

Again, sorry if these are repeats!!!

I've started adding some garb to my little shop on Etsy.   I promise to add more in the next couple of days.

I've also finally gotten around to making my webpage a webpage.  It's still under construction but it looks a lot better than it did two days ago!

I have a few smaller shops to add to this fabulous list.

My "jeweler" from the UK has done great, affordable costume pieces:  http://stores.ebay.com/Unfauxgettable-Designs?_rdc=1

I purchased a chain of office for m'lord from this wonderful gal in Canada, again great quality and cost: http://www.etsy.com/shop/RecycledRockstah

I had my hat custom created for my current ensemble and I absolutely love it!  She sent me fabric samples so we could match my dress perfectly.  It's a lovely, well made piece.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/PixieStixx

I saw this ensemble in a Wedding Issue of RENAISSANCE magazine. What you see, they wanted $1,500 for.  :o That is NOT counting the Great Coat!

It's good that folks are posting these sites.  The Newbies, especially, need to see what 'professional' quality garb looks like, and have an idea of what this stuff costs.

One of the two principle seamstresses of the original, late and greatly lamented Castle Gardens Creations (which closed in 2011 due to the illness of one of the sisters)  has a new website!
She is not making gowns anymore- but has resumed millinery by herself.  If you favor HA and don't want to make your own hat-she does it.
I can vouch for her workmanship.  Per her comments- she does not have a large inventory as yet.  Some of the site graphics and photos are from the old CGC site.

Tig'r Toggs- Don't know how I overlooked that one!  You folks going to KCRF-his shop is right next to the pirate stage.
Specializing in fyne peasant men's wear.  Look for the gaudy display of striped socks.  ;D

I bought one of his yoke shirts and a pair of the baggy pants on line for my son in law to wear to our weddng...Although he won't wear them to faire,  he does use them around the house because they are so comfortable.  I got both pieces for under $70.00 including shipping.   Toggs has much more in their shoppe at KC.
