No problem! Those will be finished well before we come again in November.

Had a bad experience with medievalcollectibles.com.  Item has still not been shipped after 10 days.  I think they forgot to order from their third party supplier.  *sigh*  Not recommended.

My boyfriend ordered a Blonde Swan hat (I've wanted one for years and he up and orders one for his first hat ever! I'm still very jealous) and while the work is amazing, it took forever for them to ship it and we didn't get a confirmation number or anything. It came one day before we left for faire, thankfully! But we worried the entire time. We called them many times and left a lot of messages, but no one returned our calls. It was only after emailing them, telling them they still hadn't taken the money out of our account, that they finally give us a different number to call and answered.

So, while we gave ourselves plenty of time to order the hat, we still had no idea when it was going to arrive and the customer service was lacking. However, it is an amazing hat and I still really want to order one for myself!

I will second them for quality.  We bought my husbands steampunk hat from them at World Steam Expo as well as a pair of goggles for my daughter.  They do vend at events so I recommend chekcing them out there  as they have a lot of options that aren't available on their website.

This year at CONVegence, an annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention I attend in Minneapolis, the Blode Swan was a vendor in the Dealer's Room. I thought their work was top notch as well. Especially the Leather work. Prices were what I expected for quality.

I bought a pair of Vintage looking glasses that fits in well with the Steam Punk look.

I love my Blond Swan hat.  They did take a few weeks to process my online order, however I think their website clearly states that their hats are "made to order".

WE just got our Etsy shop up and running!  Only 4 items as yet, but look out for frock coats and more pretty things, including fan bags, reticules, and other fripperies!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/Jollydiceycostume?ref=pr_shop

I have recently found a website that I purchased some cloaks and gowns from and they are wonderful.  The gowns and cloaks are very nice and the customer service was outstanding.  Check them out!  www.artemisia.com.  I think they are running a contest right now too!

Merry Rose

Hi, I'm the Merry Rose and I used to work at the MN Renaissance Festival.  Since my kids came along, I only go for fun now, but I still love to garb up.  I would like to add my friend Felix Needleworthy to your list of costumers/tailors.  His work is excellent.  My hubby owns one of his doublets, pants and a short kittle.  I own a bodice, skirts and two gowns.  He just "upgraded" me (his words) from my vintage gown (Italian style made in '96) to one of his front lace gowns and forepanel skirts.  He has shoppes at both the MN fest and at Bristol.  He has dressed much of my family: my hubby and I, his mom & stepdad, his sister, his stepsis and her hub, our daughter and numerous friends.  He works very hard to make historically accurate work with appropriate fabrics and his tailoring is impeccable.

Thank you for adding him to your list.  He also has a Facebook page where many clients have pics posted.

Anyone know if Celtic Rose Designs is reputable? She has some really doublets. She has an Etsy and eBay shop as well as her site. I can't seem to find any online reviews. Anyone ever bought anything from her?

I'd like to plug this shop. It's LARP gear but a lot of the stuff is great for Ren Festivals, especially the armor and clothing:

I didn't see these guys mentioned on the list, but I ordered an archers glove from them that was really nice, and plan on ordering a leather hood.
