*Anna sweeps in fresh from a morning walk through the Queens gardens. Her basket filled with bright blooms for her Majesty's parlor.*
That's what's been missing around here. A good cup of tea with friends! I'll have earl grey with a drop of honey please.

Earl Gray with honey??? Cranberry scones??? Ah, bliss and rapture...
*Amras sits right down on the ground, leaning against a tree trunk*
It shall be a glorious day!!
*puts bag of ferrets gently on the ground*
Jeeves, the pecan-cheese wafers, please.
*a distinguished ferret with a black and white tuxedo pattern emerged from the bag with a silver platter of pecan-cheese wafers and begins passing them around*
Ahhhh. tea. So much more relaxing than a shipwreck.
Gracious Queen, since there are so many people partaking of your fine hospitality, I would humbly offer to bring our Brook Bond PG Tips tea to share with the company.
Also, my British husband would be honored to make scones, if you would like more edibles.
Huzzah for Queen Bonnie's Realm!
A Royal Hug to Faire Mare for this revival! This has been such a wonderous surprise to return from Scarby and find you all here! Does anyone have a handkie? I am quite overcome with emotion!
I would love Constant Comment tea and a Ginger peach scone. I brought some back from the bakery at Scarby!
I will raise a toast to all my kind and good friends here! Huzzah! Nothing can take away R/F or our friendship!
Thank you all!
**hands over a fine linen hankie with the good queen's emblem done in a fine redwork stitching**
A place to sit back and enjoy the basic joys...
Did you all see the baby swans out on the lake?
*sips her english Morning tea while eyeing the bucket of blackberrys**
It has been too long since I've joined the Queen's Tea. I think I might sit a few and quietly sip my vanilla caramel tea as the day begins. Oh, and I picked up some chocolate biscotti for all to share.
It has been too long!
I'm certainly in need of good company this morning. Pass the scones, please!
Grammercy, Var! I Love biscotti! Glad you could join us!

Just picked another gallon of blackberries, scones are being made as we speak. This bunch will have no pesky seeds!
Hurray for no blackberry seeds. I tend to look very illmannered with my fingernail in my mouth.
Ooo! Blackberry scones - and without seeds! Huzzah, Countess - those will go nicely with my Raspberry Royale tea. I need a bit of relaxation in this lovely place after the storms that rocked our castle overnight.
*Approaches the gathering and over-elaborately bows once to her Majesty and then once to the nobles and guests assembled.
I heard that a tea was to be had and I could not miss out on this most traditional gathering of L'Inghilterra. I have had made a tray of Canoles and German Cookies.
*Places the tray before the crowd.
Grammercy Viscount Vicente! I LOVE cannolis! but not sure of the spelling/
They are yummy no mater how they ate spelled!
So good to be here! Tis a beautiful day. The Jasmine and roses are in bloom- I have the windows open and the scent is heady. Gardenias are in bud and faire on the morrow- but still gather here for tea!
I think Jasmine tea for me today. And fresh Strawberries!
*sets down basket of chocolate chip muffins* I need some chocolate today, anyone else. *starts up espresso machine* tea's not quite gonna cut it today either. Anyone else need a little espresso pick me up?
Oy I could use an espresso, been drinking the Mojito Rum all day to numb my throat.
*Finds one of the Viscount's canolis - yum!* And violetrose, those chocolate chip muffins will go nicely with vanilla caramel tea. You can send a double espresso Lawrence's way though - he's the true caffeine addict.
What a beautiful morn!
Mint tea for me today. Tis supposed to be hot!
Berries and scones make a wonderous repast!
It is very warm here as well. A raspberry Danish and mint sounds good today. How is everyone the fine day?
I am most well!
I will be away for the long weekend on Wizard business! We have told the Royal Kitchens to keep the tea and goodies coming! Do carry on until I return!
Pat the Royal Felines and give them plenty of Fresh catnip!
Grammercy!
It's been warm and humid lately so I've made some Mango Iced Tea.
Oh! That sounds perfect, Violetrose! Very hot here! I think we need ice cream sundaes too! Chocolate with nuts and brandy sauce! Yummy!
His Excellency brought home some German Chocolate ice cream. There's plenty to share.
It goes marvelously with root beer.
OOOH! Chocolate ice cream and root beer- one of my favorites!\ I needed that! Huzzah!
~stumbles in~ Did my ears hear the mention of German Chocolate?
Happy to have you here, Purple Dragon! There is always chocolate here!

Might I join for tea? I need to reboot before i get on the plane....Australia here I come!
*Tries unsuccessfully to stuff herself into Dracconia's luggage* I want to go back Down Under so badly! Have a wonderful trip and post lots of pictures when you get back!!
Oh well, guess I'll go back in and try some of daylight's muffins and ice cream. Can anyone find feijoa ice cream maybe? It'll remind me of New Zealand at least.
Happy to have you Dracconia! Wow Australia! RENNVY! Have a great trip!
I need a spot of herb spiced tea this morn and maybe a peach ginger scone! What tea do they drink in New Zealand, Var?
Today is shaping up to be a Scotch day. Anyone got a bottle of Laphroaig open? ::)
You can have my Laphroaig, Donna C. Too peaty for me- I will stick to my Lissmore! Any day is a good Scotch day! Scotch eggs to go with the single malt.
Not at all scotch, but would anyone like some scrumptious, juicy, sweet watermelon? *places large bowl of watermelon chucks on the table* High concentration of vitamin C, too, for anyone wanting to bolster their health while at tea.
OOOh. Lovely. Watermelon is just the thing for a hot Sunday afternoon.
Ooo.. watermelon! Yum! I really wanted something fruity, but can't eat the strawberries! >:( Thank You! ;D
Funny, but I don't quite remember the tea in New Zealand. I think it was English varieities mostly. We'd stop for second breakfast or elevensies, but rearely afternoon tea, so I usually had hot chocolate and a pastry (not a coffee drinker, though I recall the rest of my fellowship having interesting-looking coffees).
It's so hot here, watermelon sounds wonderful! And Texas blueberries are coming into season. *Sets down a bowl of berries for all to share*
Fresh fruit and iced mint tea sounds good today! The weather person says it will hit 101 here today. Thinking cool thoughts.
~Sauntering in carrying a silver tray which he sets down on the table~
My dear Queen Bonnie, nothing refreshes more on a hot day than an ice cold Root Beer Float made with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and Ice Cold A&W Root Beer.
Aye Purple Dragon- but make mine with chocolate ice cream please? I Love those! It is indeed a scorcher out there today!
Good Queen, if we add our temperature and your temperature together and then divide in half, then both of us will be comfortable.
Right now, I'm wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt and after reading more of the Forum will go upstairs and make a cup of tea. Even Tennessee with a towel around my neck sounds good now!
That is a good idea, Lady Renee- if it would only work!
Way too hot here and no rain. We have had 30 days of 90+ temps!
Hugs!
We had rain yesterday....but I could have down without some of the wind. Tree branches and stuff blown all over....
And its not everyday you see a squirrel blown out of a tree. :o
What a funny mental picture of a poor squirrel blowing out of a tree! I hope it was OK! No rain here! All is getting crispy. Squirrels are using the swimming pool at night- I think! LOL!
Running in and stopping to take a deep breath, ahhhh. Finally at Queens Bonnies. Can I come in and join you. It is hot outside and I know the company will be just the refresher I need after a long hot day. I have brought with me, a warm heart and big hugs, and to top it off I have something special. Mead chilled and ready to drink with scones of every kind and cheese. what is your fancy.? ;D
*Chuckles a bit about the squirrel being blown out of the tree.* You know, there was a lot less of Amras the last time saw him! ;)
Daylight, have you perchance a chocolate chip scone to go with my tea this morn?
Huzzah Daylight! Mead and scones! Yummy! I will have blueberry, walnut scones! Grammercy!
I think Lord Amras might need a bit more weight! We don't want Our Lord of the Squirrels blown out of a tree!
Good morning everyone! I'm feeling my New Orleans roots today and whipping up a batch of beingets(still toasty hot and dusted with LOTS of powdered sugar) and a nice hot cafe' au lait. Enjoy!
Coffee is strong at the Cafe du Monde.
Donuts are too hot to touch.

OH ANNA! You have found my weakness! Beingnets! Yummy! I will eat too many! Tis a good Nawlins day fer sure! Humidity here feels like it! Pass the Cafe!
Drops in with some fresh Community Coffee & Chicory and beignets to assuage the cravings. Besides we need to celebrate the receiving of my new appliances this week! An ice box for the first time in almost 3 years, (offers up coffee cup in toast)! Hip, Hip HUZZAH!

*Anna picks a pretty rose silk scarf for herself from Daylights treasures.* Thank you Daylight. I love presents from friends.
A hot tea day for me. I've a bit of a head cold and I have to chase it away. It's been a busy few weeks and the next few will be busier still. I'm trying to become certified as a QiGong instructor. I passed the first part yesterday. Got a 92/100. I could have done better but I was all nervous. This next part is gonna be really hard. Send me good wishes on the weekend of the 26th!
Thank you, Queen Bonniie, Good morning to you, yes I will have a drink with you and enjoy your friendship. Anna Iram, I will be praying for you. Just remember when you are taking the test you will not be alone , there will be someone here praying you. ;D
Strictly ginger tea for me today to put my stomach back on track, so I'm mainly here for the company today.
QiGong, Anna! I wish you lived closer! The nearest I can get to such instruction is tai chi in Huntsville, really too far to travel on a regular basis. :( If there's a book you can recommend for someone trying to learn on her own, please pass the title along. Best of luck with your tests and may you soon be helping others achieve better well-being!
Queen Bonnie, your reports of creative frenzy (and exhaustion) are uplifting. ;D I hope you'll be sharing some pics of your wands and staffs.
Huzzah Anna! Sending you magical thoughts! And hugs too! You will pass!
My crystal ball says so!
Ginger is great for stomachs , Tremayne! I love Ginger tea also!
I should finish up the last of my 5 new staffs today. I will try to get pictures! They are so full of magical energy- they don't photograph too well. I will share pictures soon- hopefully!
I hate to drink and run but I must get Back to my wizard's workshop!
Good morning Queen Bonnie, Today may I come in ? I have with me warm friendship to pass out to everyone with big hugs and oh yes Chocolates for the sweet tooth with fine tea enought to go around. I love it here, warm friends and hugs and chocolates what a great morning. Good morning to everyone and have a most wounderful day ;D
Tis lovely to be back in my favorite morning tea room with Friends! Now that the ARRG is over I have a bit more time to spend here! Grammercy Daylight! Hugs to all!
I went to the farmers market this morning and picked up peaches for a cobbler. The wonderful smells coming from my oven made me think of Queen Bonnie's tea room.
Huzzah! That does smell wonderous Lavender! Glad you are here for tea! Hugs!
MMMMM!!! Peach cobbler ;D Thanks for sharing, Lavender!
Love peach cobbler with Ice cream melting over the top if it. Thanks umm ;D
I Love Whipped cream on mine!
Yummy! Any cobbler is great!
Cobbler....*sigh* doesn't get better than that. Right out of the oven. Cream for me, hold the whip.

*enters, carrying a bottle of scotch and a bottle of loki*
Um, is this where the party's at?
*reaches into her bodice and pulls out a crumpled party flyer*
Mmm, or even chocolate cobbler is heavenly...
Fresh apple pie, still warm from the oven. With a scoop of ice cream on top...
*sighs*

Party? Where? I need another one! I think I have recovered from the ARRG!
Chocolate cobbler?
I love apple pie! With cheddar cheese. And a big bottle of Scotch. It has been that kind of day!
Oh dear, I HAVE to make you some chocolate cobbler Bonnie...there is a restaurant nearby that makes it and it is absolutely sinful.
It's exactly what it sounds like, cobbler, except instead of fruit...chocolate.

that does sound sinful. Ummm.. you will have to bring some to TRF for all to taste.. or at least Queen Bonnie, Myself, and my darling wife Lady Amalphia ;)
I don't even drink scotch and it's a scotch kind of day! Pass the bottle and the pie and the...*drool* chocolate cobbler.
Hee hee, oh lordy, what have I gotten myself into! :P
I'm making a batch up today. Who knows, maybe for our potluck at TRF, I'll make some!
Dang...I'm coming to TRF!
Well I know that it is evening now and the moring is far spent, But here I am and with some, fine grilled stakes, seasoned with all the spices that make it sizzle in your mouth, and salad tossed with all those vegs. Just a little something to go with all those deserts and scotch. Hey there is enough for everyone . Lets sit and dine and share the days events. Daylight now pulls out shots galsses for those of us who have had alittle hareder day than others. ;D
Pops head in door. Queen Bonnie the kingdom looks lovely as ever, and you my dear Queen look divine !
I brought some fresh strawberries, raspberries, and rhubarb from the local farms. I made pies with some, an here are some margarita's and daiquiri's and for the young ones on here ...some smoothies.
Chocolate cobbler sounds very sinful! How about making some for Serendipity Haven? Yum!
I will get out my chalice for my scotch! A shot is not enough for a day like today! Grammercy Daylight! I do love steak.
Hugs Lady Amy! Glad to see you here! I love berries! Huzzah!
Anna- I hope you come to TRF! What fun we could have together! Let us drink and be merry! You all bring a smile to my face!
Aye, I might just have to borrow your kitchen and we could make some the night before Serendipity!
Thanks for the smoothie, Amy *eyes a daiquiri, tempted*
That would be fun Eloquent! Lets plan on it!
Drinking Constant Comment tea this Morn with a big sinful croissant with sweet butter and blueberry jam! Yummy!
Have some!
*pours a nip of irish whiskey into her coffee*
Are there any more of those croissants left? And maybe some Apple Butter?
rhubarb! Yum! Thanks, Lady Amy!
~sitting in his corner, he perks up at the mention of Rhubarb~
would you mind slicing me off a nice big slab of Strawberry Rhubarb pie? Mayhap with a dollup or three of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream on top?
~plops a bottle of special "Irishing" for the coffee on the table to share~.
Oh how I do love Queen Bonnies, never a dull moment here. The food and the friends this all sounds so good may I join in
*Wench comes in, wearing black tights, a large black sweater, black boots and a beret*
Ah, bonjour, mes amis!
Perhaps you would like something I picked up in Paris?
*do you know how hard it is to explain to a customs agent why you have pastry in your luggage?*
Come in, Daylight, there's always plenty!
*sits on a poof, sipping hot tea and nibbles on a croissant*
Oooo! Wenchie, sit down! Look at you...mmm, what business or rather...who was in Paris? :P
It was a starving artist convention!
It was...ooh la la! ;)
Umm and from Paris you are my kind of friend, one with fine food. umm
Hahaha, have a croissant, love. Tell of the creme de la creme of Per-ee, and oooo...any good looking, charming, french artistly boys? Young enough for me?
~stands up and sings his own version of the French National Anthem~
We are the French We don't know how to fight
So we surrender right away.
~bows, and sits back down sipping his "coffee" and emjoying his Strawberry Rhubarb pie~
A Frenchman 'surrendering'.....and your point is? ;)
And if he brings pastry too, it is called lagniappe in New Orleans.
I Love French pastry! Merci Wenchie! Perhaps we need the Royal Chef to do Crepes Suzette? And Cognac to imbibe!
Tis afternoon here! Enjoy!
LOL...sorry WW. I know you mean well, but I think I'll pass on that frou frou pastryunder the whipped cream and cherries. Maybe the tart on the right later for me. What is that anyway?
Now a warm crepe with asparagus and swiss would be wonderful mmm and a port after.
Bonnie, it may be that I will make it to TRF. A long shot at this point though.
I'll take some of the Parisian delights, no one knows their pastries like the French, no? They will go lovely with mine tea...
Anna, when werest thou thinking of attending TRF?
Hey Mikayla. If I go it will be Halloween. It really is a long shot, but I've had such fun there. A fun crowd to faire with.
You'll be there?
Anna, it would so great if you could make it!! If not, that's completely ok but I'd love to see you again!
Just put some chocolate cobbler in the oven...strange recipe, never done anything like it before but who knows right?
Is that a shot of your trip to Paris WW? I asssumed it was something you found online.
If it's tried and true I'll have a slice. Just maybe a small dollop of whipped cream.
Aw, that's sweet Eloquent. Thanks. :)
So you're trying the chocolate cobbler? Can you post a picture of it when it's done?
Aye, I checked it a minute or two ago and it's actually setting up well! I was so...just perplexed because it had me pour boiling water over the top of the batter and sugar mix on top. Neither my Mom nor I have done anything like it before (and she's been baking for longer than I've been alive).
*salutes* Yes'm, I shall take a photo of whenever it comes out of the oven!
*fork in hand, he wonders if'n he can make it to Eloquent's kitchen about the tyme it be ready....* :D
Anna, tis looking like Turkey Day weekend. Man Halloween weekend would be really cool too...(to the tune of, "it's your birthday, happy birthday) it's my birthday, happy birthday Halloween weekend!
Halloween weekend is your birthday? How lucky are you? Halloween is one of my favorite holidays next to Thanksgiving.
OH BOY!!! Anna at TRF on Halloween Weekend?
I be sure t' save a special BOO!!! jus fer YOU! ;D
So, just finished with the chocolate cobbler. For a first round, it did not turn out bad! Bit too much liquid but thats easily fixed. Tastes really good, Dad said he really liked it cause it wasn't overly sweet. Just needed a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream on it and it would have been perfect.
Taa-daaaa.
Oh boy! A BOO from Molden! ;D
Great shot Eloquent. I can almost smell the gooey goodness.
Yum! That does look great Eloquent!
So happy if you could make TRF Anna! I Adore Halloween! Great if you could come too Lady Mikayla!
Planning on being at TRF most weekends- unless the nargles get me! LOL!
Just got back from my walk! I think iced tea might be nice- with lemon and mint!
It's a hot day and I've brought along a chilled pear brandy sorbet. Perhaps this will chase the heat away!

Sigh!
I love breakfast for dinner! How about I add some potaotes, thinly sliced and sauted with onions!
Sounds great Anna! So today how about dinner for breakfast! LOL! Cheeseburgers and fries- and mimosas! ! Maybe dinner for breakfast is not as good as breakfast for dinner!
I'll take that cheeseburger and fries off your hands, Queen Bonnie.
After all, my stomach has no idea what time it is! ;)
A chorizo and egg omelet would go nicely this morning with just a few Hatch Chiles.
Oh yes, count me in for breakfast, it simlpy the most fun meal of the day.
Stopping in for cup of tea and a chat. Sweet Apple Chamomile, cause one can never be sweet enough!
Glad you are here, Anna! Tea is great this time of day- but tis nearly happy hour!
Watching the clock! LOL!
Wine and artichoke hearts and escargot. I think the Royal Chefs are working hard to please us all here!
Happy hour? But I'm happy already!!!
Ah Blue, but one can never be *happy* enough either. :)
Bonnie I love escargot! Lot's of butter and garlic. Yum!
Yummy! Glad someone else loves Escargot! I put brandy and fresh parsley in mine- with the garlic and butter and French bread to sop up the sauce!
Every hour is happy hour at R/F! Hugs Anna and Blue! A toast to happy hours to all here! Huzzah!

*Wench and Festmum come in, dripping wet and trying not to track sand into the Wizard's Tower*
The Sister Sandwenches bring something very fitting....HURRICANES!
And a platter of fresh fruit, cheese and crackers.
*The drink, not the grand monsoon*
Huzzah and Hugs! Glad you made it! No problem about the sand- the house elves will happily clean it up!
I LOVE the Hurricanes- DRINKS! Glad you are OK! Fruit cheeses and crackers are perfect!
Good morrow, Majesty, ladies, gentlemen,
I bring juice from a most wonderful fruit. 'Tis called a pomegranate. Lovely to drink, most vexing to eat, however, unless you do as the inhabitants of the Mediterranean do, and simply eat the seeds. Very cooling and quenching on a warm day.
I also have a nice selection of breads, cheeses and small tea cakes. Enjoy!
Huzzah and grammercy Zemirah! I do love pomegranate.I had a tree that bore lovely fruit- but alas- it froze one winter.
Tis very nice to visit over tea with friends here!
Bonnie, I brought you a loaf of banana nut bread warm from thr oven for your tea tomorrow morn. I bought a candle today of the same scent and it smells so real I had to have some.
How was your weekend?
Grammercy Anna!I LOVE banana nut bread!
My TRF weekend was perfection! Var and I hung out together on Sat. Sunday I spent playing with Muggles and wizard hunting.
Very pleased with my weather spell! Working on another for this weekend! POOF<<<<***!!!
Getting re-packed to go again! Staying with friends has made it more affordable- and more fun too! I am so blessed in my fairmily!
Earl Grey tea hits the spot with your banana bread! Yumm!
Lights the fire! There is hut mulled mead! And short bread cookies! This spot has too long been quiet! I was busy with faire- but have a bit more time to spend here now!
Pull up a chair!
*Anna comes dressed in a cheery red gown and humming a Christmas tune. She tucks a sprig of mistletoe in Bonnies hair as she joins her by the fire.*
Oh my gosh, mulled mead and shortbread sounds so good. :) A Merry Yule to you Bonnie. I was thinking of you this morning and missing having tea with you.
Hugs Anna! I miss you too! Glad you are here! Today is a drippy foggy day. Tea and croissants will taste good this morn!
Thanks for the mistletoe! I have some for you too!
:) *Anna tucks the mistletoe into her own hair.*
Thank you Bonnie. Wearing Mistletoe is this Kingdom brings a few more adventures than even I am up for....Perhaps if I wear just a teeny tiny sprig....wouldn't do to tuck ones heart away forever. ;)
I'm a few hours early, but tommorrow at 7:00AM marks the Winter Soltice. May our days grow ever brighter! :)
I'll drink to brighter! We need to keep our spirits up!
Hoping the magical mistletoe works on the morrow! Warmer would also be nice! I am hopeful! HUGS!
Today we are having baked brie en croute and brandy! Must stay warm!
I'll trade weather anytime Bonnie. It's beautiful today but will warm up to 80 by Christmas Eve Day, with possible rain for Christmas. That's what I get for living wear Santa wears Bermuda shorts. ;D
I love brie! Sounds wonderful To add to that I have the most Delicious strawberries. I've discovered a hydroponic farm a bit north of me. What a treat. So sweet!
I've got ginger snaps for afternoon tea. ;)
OOH! I love gingersnaps!i love anything with ginger! Thanks Donna Catalina!
We should have Ceylon tea with those!
It will be 70 here for Christmas! No complaints here Anna!
I prefer warm! I will add black raspberries to our fruit! Very yummy with brie!
Shall we hang our stockings up soon?
I know what I want in mine! LOL! Perhaps my love potion 999 will work?
Freshly baked cranberry nut bread this morning and good stong coffee. Lot's to do with Christmas so near. My house mice are busy wrapping presents and finishing the house chores so I could sneek away for a bit this morning!
*Anna hangs her stocking next to Bonnie's and Donna Catalina's. She tucks a vial of Joy and a box filled with Happiness for Bonnie. For Donna an inkwell that never runs dry and a quill that stay ever sharp. :)
Bonnie have fun with your new Wizard friend. I'm sure he'll be completly charmed as all your frineds are. Even without magic potions. :)
*Elo sneaks in, crazy santa hat on with jingles loud, and puts a mason jar full of dry Russian orange spice tea in each stocking and then places a pan of warm cookies and brownies on the table, decorated for the holidays.*
Have a wonderful holiday, ladies! Hugs for all and hope to hear from you soon!
*runs off in a flurry*
Did I just glimpse Santa??? I do smell brownies and banana nut bread too! Yummy! My favorite! Orange tea is a favorite too!
BIG HUGS Eloquent, Anna and Donna!
I know my wizard will arrive exactly when he is supposed to!
The house elves have been hard at work here.
*Wench comes in with an insulated tote*
I can't stay, Queen Bonnie, but I wanted to drop off this double chocolate cheesecake and a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream for you and your wizard.
It is best if you dip each forkful in the Bailey's. ;)
Thanks Wenchie! Anything is better with Bailey's! Yummm! Chocolate! Grammercy!
*Anna enters the Queens parlor and seeing it unused since winter decides it's time for a Tea Party!* She moves about the room opening the windows and letting in the cool breeze. Outside the sound of the nearby brook and the song of a mockingbird fill the air. She fills the vases with flowers from the garden, most especially the yellow roses her Queen loves so much and sets upon the table pitchers of iced Peach and Raspberry Teas. She unwraps a fresh sour cream pound cake still warm from the oven and places bowls of fresh berries and sweet whipped cream beside it. Not forgeting the royal kitties she places a bowl of treats by the fireplace and lifting Tachi into her lap she waits for those who will join her.*
Hugs Anna! I needed a tea party today!
Iced tea will hit the spot!
Tachi looks so comfortable in your lap! Happy to have all here to enjoy the gardens and our friendship! HUZZAH!
Today is one of those days I need to sit back with a hot cup of tea and good book. Anyone care to join? My Queen, perhaps you could do a spell or two to bring us some cooler weather!
I'd love to join you for tea Lady Ashlyn. :)
It's pretty warm here in Florida just now too, though nothing like what you all have in Texas. We had a spell of that a few weeks back. It was miserable!
Nice thing about the Queens parlor is the weather is always perfect here for what you want. :)
We have the magical A/C cranked way down!
Working on a bit of a rain spell. my poor gardens!
I am reading Harry Potter- of course.
Perhaps something a wee bit stronger than tea might be needed? * The queen offers a decanter of mysterious amber liquid and crystal goblets!*
Mmmmm... I'd love a we drop 'o the amber, if I may? I would also love to join you beautiful ladies here in your delightfully, and magically, cool parlor, my Lady Queen, if there is room for one more?
I bring you flavored pecans from my realm, grown in the orchard of my grandparents, whose home is soon to be packed up and sold, so these are from the last crop I will have access to, which is sad. There are both savory, made with cayenne and other spices, and sweet, made with sugar and cinnamon, and I brought more than enough for everyone. I also have a special bottle for you, Madam, from Scotland... ;) and a bit of bubbly and fresh squeezed orange juice, if anyone would care to join me for a mimosa?
So glad you could join us Rani Z. There is always room for one more in here! Tis a large room!
We do love the Sweet Pecans! Yummy and thanks! You know I appreciate anything from Scotland! did anyone bring a laddie in a kilt to pour the brew? LOL! *The faint sound of soothing bagpipes wafts through the room! You can almost smell the heather in bloom!
I love mimosas- but hold the OJ! Cheers!
I do agree Queen Bonnie. We need a nice lad from Scotland in our services! Sweet Pecans sound wonderful. I love cinnamon. It reminds me of autumn!
*cough cough*
Wow, this place can use some dusting! :o
*dusts off the table and sets down homemade pumpkin pie with plenty of fresh whipped cream dusted with cinnamon and allspice*
It's made with fresh pumpkin, not the canned stuff.
Oh--and a teapot of pumpkin latte.
After all, it is the season! :D
Thanks for the Dusting and the pie too, Wenchie! Yummy! I LOVE pie! We do need a bit more action in here! Lets break out the Scotch- of course I'll put it in my tea cup! LOL!
OH my a tea...Ummm Scotch party... I brought warm chocolate chip and native pecan cookies... And more scotch!
Did someone say Scots? oooooh, Scotch. Could I get a scootch of Scotch with a Scot?
I left a cauldron full of hot (love!) pumpkin soup - so good with a little sour cream - for lunch. Save a spoonful for me!
YUMMM! Cookies and Scotch! Grammercy Cat!
Sounds good to me Taffy! See you this weekend!
Aaaaaahhh... So very nice to sit and relax after such a wonderfully tiring weekend! A wee dram with a bit of pumpkin soup and a cookie sounds like just the remedy for tired feet. It was so very wonderful to see you again, my dear Queen, and I look forward to the next time we meet in the lanes. My daughter adored meeting you, and is so excited about becoming the newest FOKTOP member that she had to make sure everyone we met was informed! She has many plans in that area, and I believe we will be making a report in the near future.
I've brought you some more of the pecans, as well as some homemade apple butter with fresh warm wheat bread. It looks like we have quite a wonderful tea laid out! :)
My dear Queen, it was lovely to finally meet you! I do believe you give the best hugs in the kingdom!
Thank you so much for allowing me entrance to your kingdom! I can't wait to be graced by your presence once more!
Hugs Dracconia! Twas lovely to meet you at TRF! We are most pleased to have you in our realm! Huzzah!
Great to see you again Rani Z. Your daughter is beautiful and we are so pleased she hates the Evil peeps! She will be an asset to FOKTOP! Huzzah! I wonder why I am a wee bit tired? Putting my feet up and having a spot of tea with friends here is a lovely way to pass the afternoon!
