I know some of you like to get a jump on planning your faire tour schedule.
Oh no...we have to wait an extra weekend. Well, it beats July 4th....

*sigh* I guess this means no Owain...and with the Rendevous at MDRF for Labor Day Weekend...not sure if we'll be able to get up to Michigan at all! :o

And who knows...maybe Owain will show up with Wolgamut again.

Hmmmmm so many faires, so little time.....might have to schedule an invasion of this faire if I can squeeze it into my schedule......
When is the normal R/F invasion here
This past year the main invasion was opening weekend and there was a smaller one on closing weekend.
Any weekend will have most of the local RFers and a bunch from Pittsburgh for at least one of the days.
I think we planned the invasion around the time Scotsman and Lady Guinness planned on visiting.
So.......Scotsman, when are ya coming to Avaloch this year??????????????
Maybe they'll surprise us! ;)
Hmmmm, tis a good question indeed!
First, we are coming .... we just have not settled our travel calendar for 2009 ... big problem is waiting to see what happens with our son. Once we get him straight we will know better. He is currently in Army basic training and we don't know when and where he will be assigned.

We get Owain for the first 3 weekends this season!
Just checked the schedule on his website.

Greetings all....have not logged in here in quite some time.....
I for one am relieved to find that opening weekend is the 11th...have a family wedding on the 4th and have been struggling with missing the first weekend of what has become my favourite faire......
Plans are in the making for us to travel to Maryland in September too.....sooooooooo exciting.......
