I could kill myself for not printing this out before, but I have often used "Dawnpages" as a resource when drafting my own patterns. So Im planning to make my husband a pirate shirt this week, went to Dawnpages and I dont know if it is closed down now or what, but I cant get to any of the pages. Does anyone know of another site that might have similar directions? I do not want to buy a pattern, I want a site that will show me instructions on how to draft my own pattern. Thanks.
this is the cached one, is that what you are looking for?
google cached shirt.htm page (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:rsmf7K219q4J:www.reddawn.net/costume/shirt.htm+dawnpages+%5Cshirt&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com)
YES!!!! thanks.....I havent been able to get to any of dawnpages links and I was freaking out a little......Im fond of those pages:) thanks again.
this one references the same directions, but it has diagrams . . . D. Duperault's design (http://ottawa-swordplay.blogspot.com/2007/02/shirt-pattern.html)
I use Randwulf's Pirate shirt pattern for making kilt shirts. (http://www.amazon.com/MoiRandall-Randwulfs-Pirate-Shirt-Pattern/dp/B001QN8ENK)
It's easy to customize to different sizes.
