Title: pirate shirt link
Post by: jackrocks on June 13, 2011, 08:08:27 AM
I could kill myself for not printing this out before, but I have often used "Dawnpages" as a resource when drafting my own patterns. So Im planning to make my husband a pirate shirt this week, went to Dawnpages and I dont know if it is closed down now or what, but I cant get to any of the pages. Does anyone know of another site that might have similar directions? I do not want to buy a pattern, I want a site that will show me instructions on how to draft my own pattern. Thanks.

this one references the same directions, but it has diagrams . . .   D. Duperault's design  (http://ottawa-swordplay.blogspot.com/2007/02/shirt-pattern.html)

I use Randwulf's Pirate shirt pattern for making kilt shirts. (http://www.amazon.com/MoiRandall-Randwulfs-Pirate-Shirt-Pattern/dp/B001QN8ENK)
It's easy to customize to different sizes.
