The '08 show was my first time at a ren-fest. Now I'm hooked.

OK, this one was on the tentative schedule but has now been confirmed.
I'll be at FlaRF Valentine's Day weekend.
It was decided that the Horseman of Romance could not stay home if there were a faire going on, so I'm making the trip. A few others will likely make it with me, so it'll be like a mini-invasion. Don't have a final headcount yet
We'll also be celebrating there...

I still plan attending for one of the days, its really too close not to go. I have no idea when I should go either, any ideas the best weekends to attend?
I should know later today if we're going or not ... need to chat with my wife about making a weekend of it.
We won't be there this year unless a miracle happens...winter funds are tight and thier vendor fees are just way too high for the return at this point...have fun everyone that attends!

For anyone planning to be there, tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of their Holiday Special on tickets. You'll save $2 per adult ticket. Leinad and I will be there closing weekend, with the younglings in tow on Sunday.
Got my tickets at the discount. Just not sure what weekend we'll be going. Closing weekend is a possibility ...
Well, closing weekend actually won't work for us.
But we got a date figured out and made room reservations. We'll be at FLARF Feb. 14 and 15.

i was going to invest in a season pass this year, but after cross referencing with the mosi calendar, I will def be at mosi the weekend of the 21st. I can't pass up highland games.
I still might get a season pass, we will see.
I'm not sure which weekend I'll be there, but I do try to make it out once a year if for nothing else than to stock up on honey.

All depends on how the weather is looking (I think it's going to be nice!) and if I can get my bottom in the car early enough.

Which weekend is it that is the Big Weekend over there? I'll have to check into expenses since it is like a 4 hour or more drive up there which means, I'll take the best friend along and we will probably have to crash up there the night before then drive back after the faire..
There's a mini invasion for St Patty's weekend. That is, I believe, the weekend before St Pattys Day itself. Some of the McCracks will be down and a few others. There's to be other weekends with out of town guests of course, but that's probably your best bet to meet alot of folks from other faires visiting BARF.

Well, I am looking into making the jaunt down for the 2/21 weekend Pirate theme. There are many folks on the Pyrates.com forum who are looking at making the run for the weekend as well.

i probably should have said this months ago, but the honey shop isnt there this year. the owner had identical triplets back in august. but she should be here next year
I made the trip down the second weekend of FlaRF and had a great time.
The layout isn't what I remembered... I'll have to make it a point to make FlaRF once a season, every season.
I wish the BARF and FlaRF schedules didn't clash so much
