Funny, but I don't quite remember the tea in New Zealand.  I think it was English varieities mostly.  We'd stop for second breakfast or elevensies, but rearely afternoon tea, so I usually had hot chocolate and a pastry (not a coffee drinker, though I recall the rest of my fellowship having interesting-looking coffees).

It's so hot here, watermelon sounds wonderful!  And Texas blueberries are coming into season.  *Sets down a bowl of berries for all to share*

~places a tray of hand made biscuits and a hot tureen of sausage gravy on the table~  Breakfast anyone?

AHHHH and look at this Purple Dragon already had exactly what I wanted served up ready to go...breakfast indeed thank-thee good Sir.

Stopping in for some peaches and cream. That sounds SO good!

*Anna picks a pretty rose silk scarf for herself from Daylights treasures.* Thank you Daylight. I love presents from friends.

A hot tea day for me. I've a bit of a head cold and I have to chase it away. It's been a busy few weeks and the next few will be busier still. I'm trying to become certified as a QiGong instructor. I passed the first part yesterday. Got a 92/100. I could have done better but I was all nervous. This next part is gonna be really hard. Send me good wishes on the weekend of the 26th!

Strictly ginger tea for me today to put my stomach back on track, so I'm mainly here for the company today.

QiGong, Anna! I wish you lived closer! The nearest I can get to such instruction is tai chi in Huntsville, really too far to travel on a regular basis.  :(  If there's a book you can recommend for someone trying to learn on her own, please pass the title along. Best of luck with your tests and may you soon be helping others achieve better well-being!

Queen Bonnie, your reports of creative frenzy (and exhaustion) are uplifting.  ;D  I hope you'll be sharing some pics of your wands and staffs.

The Sister Sandwenches bring something very fitting....HURRICANES!
And a platter of fresh fruit, cheese and crackers.

*The drink, not the grand monsoon*

Good morrow, Majesty, ladies, gentlemen,

I bring juice from a most wonderful fruit. 'Tis called a pomegranate. Lovely to drink, most vexing to eat, however, unless you do as the inhabitants of the Mediterranean do, and simply eat the seeds. Very cooling and quenching on a warm day.

I also have a nice selection of breads, cheeses and small tea cakes. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, mulled mead and shortbread sounds so good. :) A Merry Yule to you Bonnie. I was thinking of you this morning and missing having tea with you.

Thank you Bonnie. Wearing Mistletoe is this Kingdom brings a few more adventures than even I am up for....Perhaps if I wear just a teeny tiny sprig....wouldn't do to tuck ones heart away forever.  ;)

I'm a few hours early, but tommorrow at 7:00AM marks the Winter Soltice. May our days grow ever brighter!  :)

Freshly baked cranberry nut bread this morning and good stong coffee. Lot's to do with Christmas so near.  My house mice are busy wrapping presents and finishing the house chores so I could sneek away for a bit this morning!

*Anna hangs her stocking next to Bonnie's and Donna Catalina's. She tucks a vial of Joy and a box filled with Happiness for Bonnie. For Donna an inkwell that never runs dry and a quill that stay ever sharp. :)

Bonnie have fun with your new Wizard friend. I'm sure he'll be completly charmed as all your frineds are. Even without magic potions. :)

I can't stay, Queen Bonnie, but I wanted to drop off this double chocolate cheesecake and a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream for you and your wizard.

It is best if you dip each forkful in the Bailey's.  ;)

*Anna enters the Queens parlor and seeing it unused since winter decides it's time for a Tea Party!* She moves about the room opening the windows and letting in the cool breeze. Outside the sound of the nearby brook and the song of a mockingbird fill the air. She fills the vases with flowers from the garden, most especially the yellow roses her Queen loves so much and sets upon the table pitchers of iced Peach and Raspberry Teas. She unwraps a fresh sour cream pound cake still warm from the oven and places bowls of fresh berries and sweet whipped cream beside it. Not forgeting the royal kitties she places a bowl of treats by the fireplace and lifting Tachi into her lap she waits for those who will join her.*

I'd love to join you for tea Lady Ashlyn. :)

It's pretty warm here in Florida just now too, though nothing like what you all have in Texas. We had a spell of that a few weeks back. It was miserable!

Nice thing about the Queens parlor is the weather is always perfect here for what you want. :)

Working on a bit of a rain spell. my poor gardens!
I am reading Harry Potter- of course.
Perhaps something a wee bit stronger than tea might be needed? * The queen offers a decanter of mysterious amber liquid and crystal goblets!*

Mmmmm... I'd love a we drop 'o the amber, if I may?  I would also love to join you beautiful ladies here in your delightfully, and magically, cool parlor, my Lady Queen, if there is room for one more?

I bring you flavored pecans from my realm, grown in the orchard of my grandparents, whose home is soon to be packed up and sold, so these are from the last crop I will have access to, which is sad.  There are both savory, made with cayenne and other spices, and sweet, made with sugar and cinnamon, and I brought more than enough for everyone.  I also have a special bottle for you, Madam, from Scotland...  ;)  and a bit of bubbly and fresh squeezed orange juice, if anyone would care to join me for a mimosa?

So glad you could join us Rani Z.  There is always room for one more in here! Tis a large room!
We do love the Sweet Pecans! Yummy and thanks! You know I appreciate anything from Scotland! did anyone bring a laddie in a kilt to pour the brew? LOL! *The faint sound of soothing bagpipes wafts through the room! You can almost smell the heather in bloom!
I love mimosas- but hold the OJ!  Cheers!

*cough cough*

Wow, this place can use some dusting!  :o

*dusts off the table and sets down homemade pumpkin pie with plenty of fresh whipped cream dusted with cinnamon and allspice*

It's made with fresh pumpkin, not the canned stuff.

Oh--and a teapot of pumpkin latte.

After all, it is the season!  :D

Aaaaaahhh...  So very nice to sit and relax after such a wonderfully tiring weekend!  A wee dram with a bit of pumpkin soup and a cookie sounds like just the remedy for tired feet.  It was so very wonderful to see you again, my dear Queen, and I look forward to the next time we meet in the lanes.  My daughter adored meeting you, and is so excited about becoming the newest FOKTOP member that she had to make sure everyone we met was informed!  She has many plans in that area, and I believe we will be making a report in the near future.

I've brought you some more of the pecans, as well as some homemade apple butter with fresh warm wheat bread.  It looks like we have quite a wonderful tea laid out!  :)
