Just wondering what everyone is looking to add to their "Renaissance Stuff" collection at fest this season.
For me, it is a new pair of boots and for Gin it is a Felix Needleworthy bodice.
We may get another of Docs mugs too. We really love those!
I am sure there will be other things too...LoL
New black belt for me! Perhaps a skirt hike if I see one I like.
And meade... But I don't have to look for that. I knows where they keep it ;D

Ha. My goal for this year is NOTHING! For myself anyway. I might do some Christmas shopping out there, but what with my new pirate garb this year (new garb, in addition to belt, baldric, and a neto compass to round it out), I've spent quite enough on new Ren stuff. We'll see if I can stick to that ...
I need a new bodice as well, so Felix will be seeing some fundage from our little group.
I also need a couple of small mugs from DeNeene's pottery for my bathroom.
Need a new fan this year as well. mine is falling apart.
And of course the Dregs stuff.

I am looking to have fun. Lack of cash will prevent me from buying anything. George is getting a new pair of boots though. He's had the same ones for 15 years now and needs a new pair of Sandlars. Though he did hint that I may be able to get a new pair of sandals since I have worn mine out. I am very tough on footwear, they only lasted 3 years I think. I really want a pair of custom boots, but will never be able to afford them.
I. "want" a pewter chalice and jenn gets a new mug and we too are going right for felix's and then to get her new footwear. It's all about jenn this year.

Well Jenn got a whole new outfit, sandals, and a new mug! I got my goblet that I wanted and the guy was awesome, he even changed out the stones for me to match my outfit for my FOP. I got a new vest for my pirate garb. Now I am just waiting for my new coat to come for the seamstress. She is runnng a little behind.
Just to note: I have two places out at fest working on goblet holders. I am not going to be out at fest this next weekend but the weekend after that I will be and I will check on them and see how they turned out. Hopefully decent enough.
Stuff wise: the new Dregs cd (check) and a new shiney, ie jewelry of some sort.
Non-stuff wise: I'd like to have no drama and lots of good energy. And a question that I don't think can be answered.
Being as this was my 15th year attending the Festival I decided to buy something noteworthy so I indulged in a new lovely - a boot dagger from Starfire! Oh yeah, and there were a 'few' other things that were begging, no imploring me to buy them ...

Several other things will be unique colored plumes for Hats I have planned to make, anda pendandt tht resembles closely to a Pelican that QEI wears in the Pelican portrait. Any web links will also be helpful for I will be recreating that gown for a dear friend of mine who is in the process of writing an epic Historical novel on QEI.

Fellowship Foundry has the best prices on Pewter stuff that I have seen this year. They are located right before you hit the Tree Top Round food court (on the right hand side of the lane, if you are approaching from the main gate), if I remember right.
Sleepy got his new goblet there this year and it looks really nice!

Was in Things Remembered today and they have some nice mugs.. No fancy designs, but they were cheap... :)

The flasks at Fellowship Foundry do not come with a belt clip or anything to attach to a belt with, but they do come with that built in shot glass!. They sent me to Excalibur Leather to have a belt case made for mine last year when I bought it from them. I can't remember how much Excalibur charged me for it, but it wasn't much (20 bucks I think). The leather worker there (I think his name is Darren) said I was the 2nd person he made that for so when he made mine he said he made a template for it so he could reproduce more if others wanted them. I even got to watch him make it. That was cool because I got to hang out for a while in the back of Excalibur Leathers (they got a lot of stuff back there!). The guy is from MN so we had a lot to talk about while he made it.
Excalibur Leather does sell those little glass bottle flasks that can attach to your belt. Those are cool!
