Huzzah! A new Renfaire will start up next June in Great Bend, KS.
I don't know how many times I've read this year that a faire has been postponed or caneled due to the economy. Huzzah to Pastor Dave at Great Bend for letting the show go on! Now is a great time to hire performers & vendors. As other faires have shut their gates (hopefully temporarily), there are more opportunities to draw in these fine folk as they have more weekends available. Their costs may be lower as well to be more appealing.
The info I got from Dave yesterday was that the Scallywags from Wichita's Great Plains Renfest will be performing as well as a group called Ezra from Missouri. Other acts that perform in Wichita will be contacted for their availability on June 12th & 13th.
