OK. So who is going to be there opening weekend?
It is a distinct possibility that I will be there, even if only until 2:30 or 3, on Saturday.
I'm almost certain I will
I'll be there with bells on. ;) I am working there this season at either the wings booth by the dungon or at acient arts. :)
I'm going to try my darndest to get there for the opening! On Sunday though, I work Saturdays. :-[
I'll be there every weekend.
I'm plannin' on being there if work allows.
Season pass in hand, be there as much as possible. Definatly first weekend.
I, along with my "Company", will be in attendance...
Will be there on monday of opening week-end will be at Pittsburg fair on saturday

Dust is the one thing we already have in abundance. We're feverishly making more wings, and nervously waiting for the shipment of wands.
Do you mean the beautiful wings in the shop, or the wings I'll be wearing? Mine won't be beautiful this year. My new fairy costume is a horror show, black boots, black pants or tights, black long sleeve shirt, black gloves, black belt, black executioner hood with grey gauze covering my face. No skin will be visible, and I'll be carrying a staff with a skull on top. The new wings are the best part, and the only piece that isn't finished yet. At Pennsic last week, I went to a leather merchant and bought pieces from his scrap bin. They're going to be hanging loose from a heavy wire frame, and should give the effect of tattered rotting skin. I'm toying with the idea of never speaking aloud when I wear that costume outside of the booth. The possible problem I might have is that I don't want to scare small children away from the booth. ;D

So I am late in responding... me, my hubby, and the wee-one will be there! My hubby and his grandfather are scrambling to try and get a wagon built for my son... they've been talking about it for some time now, but I've yet to see anything go into production!
I haven't been able to make Opening weekend for years due to other conflicts but will be there on the 6th.

I'm definitely not settled here in TN yet. The new job is great, but my stuff is still in my apartment in Kentucky. I'll be moving it Labor Day Weekend, so I'll miss opening at ORF. That's okay because I will of course be visiting ORF. I have a season pass and all, so I gotta use it! I know for sure I'll be coming Sept 6th/7th, and then Castleteer Weekend, and then I'll try a couple more, as well as Celtic Fest. Gotta find someone to carpool with along the way. I'm trying my darndest to get everything organized and ready for this weekend. I've got my wee-ones kilt in order (well, almost) My hubby's kilt is set, I was sure to load up on sunscreen for the family and also deet free OFF (pesky bugs)....... I've nearly got everyone else together... I'm still running in circles and making trips to the fabric stores for last minute skirts, shaws, baby cloak, etc.

Why, yes it is! I believe that is only for this opening week though because of labor day
Getting ready to go down there right now. The whole crew will be in the booth. We have to weed the garden, plant the new flowers, put down mulch, and put up stock.
Finally got in touch with Chip and he'll have my new gloves ready for me, whew!

We just got back. We only stayed from 11:15-4:00 though because of my wee-one. We had fun. It was rather warm.

I had SUCH a great time, everyone. I know I made a somewhat quick exit, but I think the sunburn was getting to my head (in my defense, it IS my entire face that's burnt so badly).
It was so awesome to meet you all, finally. ^.^ Thanks to everyone that let me tag along (or kidnapped me, in some cases xP).
I'll see everyone on the 13th, and I cannot wait to meet even more of you!

My mission this weekend is to hide the "sacred crystal". When Quinn returns, his job will be to find it. "Remember mom, you have to hide it and not tell me where it is, so when I come back I can go on the sacred crystal hunt, Indiana Jones style!"

Glad to hear everyone had a good time this weekend. You guys have NO IDEA how tempted I was to drive up there after I moved from Frankfort, KY. I doubt my mother would have liked me very well if I had done that to her. ;D Look forward to seeing you all next weekend, and of course CASTLETEER weekend! Hugs to you all! Hopefully, we break the trend when we're actually around each other in a couple weeks.
I missed half of opening day. We were up late everynight last week getting ready for it, then I worked my butt off Friday afternoon to get the shop ready, stayed up late again Friday night hanging out with people we only see at fair, and then about 2PM Saturday afternoon it all caught up with me and I crashed on our bed in the back of the shop.
Had a great time the rest of the weekend though. ;D

We had so much fun opening weekend. It was so great to see everyone, to meet new faces, and to spend the day with so many of those we love so much. It was an amazing day, yummy food, good drink, great hugs, beautiful weather, and all the heavenly feelings of faire!

I remember that. It was brief, and I was busy at the time. That was before I crashed. :)
