Title: Victorian Leisure Faire
Post by: Ozium on September 01, 2010, 08:57:27 PM
It's the last weekend for the NEW Victorian Leisure Faire in Rome Ny. Anyone needing
a faire fix open the garb locker and head down to support this new event in the central
Ny area.

Hey dude, long time. Was good for the first year. They had alot of NY State BS to deal with.
Next year you will need to come check it out.

Chat is working again come say hello to the crew.

It sounds like fun.  Did anyone take any pictures I could see?  I may like to attend next year.

It may be in a different location next year but we will see. I got out of the car with my
camera and went to clear the old pics and guess what, no darn memory card. Forgot
that i had another crappy camera in the car with a card in it so i took no pictures.

To make it worse Albany messed up their beer permit, so they had no ale for sale, but
being resourceful rennies that we are we dispatched somone for a cooler and ice, and
some ales and wine to put in the cooler and proceeded to dragg the mess onsite. Met
the creator and his family, great folks and this is his dream after running a ren faire in
CA for 20 some odd years. Let him know that the Sterling FOF would help out in any
way possible and had a great day. Think our group kept the last show singing abit
longer than they had scheduled, but hey we were all having a good time.

So the only pics i could find are mainly of Sterling folk, i think they should be
viewable by all. I think we are all looking forward to next year. Was a good time in spite
of Albany and the other hurdles and headaches the creator was put through in the
2 months they had to put the whole thing together.

Anyways enough of my wind, here are the pics i have found..
