We usually attend closing weekend for father's Day but we are goging to try and make it. I would say that there's a 80% chance we'll be there.

You are welcome to stay with us. It is about an hour drive but am I sure the kids would love to play when not at faire.

I think I might just stay the weekend. We'll know more when we get closer.By the way let me know when your'e coming to MDRF.
Lady Joyce Ann you and me both need signatures as I only have 16 right now as we speak.As for MDRF I just found it that I won't be able to make it this year.The people I was going to be coming with are booked up starting next week and throughout next month as well but I do hope to make it to Rendezvous next year so hopefully I will see you there.
I am confidant we will be there - just a couple issues to resolve!

This time I would like to see you all in one piece unlike last time when it was just so ungodly hot.Speaking as someone who does not do well with heat you all had me a little worried when yall were having to visit the hospital tent (as Chuck'n likes to call it).

We may take you up on that. It's 8 months away. I'm hoping to change jobs by the end of the year so time off next spring is a bit of a wild card right now.
I will be there but not sure about Tipp'n. He may be working overseas.

Please do. I looked for you at MDRF but missed you. It was just me and one of my kids so we didn't visit White Hart much.

So, seems like the gathering is sometime in November... I will try to be there. Not 100% sure as of right now, but should be able to swing it.

It's the middle of the woods in the middle of the boondocks of Virginia -- did you think they stopped at the gates when they saw the "No Pets" sign?? Don't worry -- the grounds guys throw them back over the creek when they see them. :D Seriously, though -- it's not like the Rose Stage is going to erupt in snakes a la Raiders of the Lost Ark, it's just that it *is* the country, and there's wildlife. It lives there all year, we just borrow the spot for five weeks. I've got snakes in my yard too -- it's really cute when one of my cats runs up to the porch to give me a nice fresh garter snake they've just caught. Sometimes still wriggling.
Thankfully my cats and dogs don't bring me snakes however lord knows they bring me enough mice!

Good question............I was wandering the same thing myself.
Just Memorial Day itself was canceled......they will still have a faire for the weekend. So M'Crack Gathering will stay the same.

Can anyone tell me a hotel to stay at?
We will be setting up for a hotel probably just after the 1st of the year. We will reserve a block of rooms and try to get as many as we can at the one hotel. We usually get a better price when we book three or more rooms at the same place.
I believe last year we stayed at a Motel 6 not very far from the faire and we were close to quite a bit of stuff in Fredricksburg. I will post something here once we make arrangements.

Heal'n and myself will be there (we hope...) but we'll maybe be bringing the wee cousins along. We tried to brainwash...I mean, "convince" them to come last year but they were otherwise engaged, so hopefully we'll have them this year!
