Emerald:

Does this faire have any affiliation with either:

Nebraska Renaissance Faire And Medieval Pageant: http://www.renaissancefestival.com/festivals/view.php?faire=93

             or

   Nebraska City Renaissance Festival: http://www.renaissancefestival.com/festivals/view.php?faire=92

Maybe replace one or the other?

I ask partly because I saw that the faire you posted is on Giles Rd. and the first one NRF and MP says it's village is Giles Castle.

If yours is a new faire please let me know and I'll create a new listing for it, however if your faire replaces one of the above I need to know so I can make the appropriate changes.

      Thanks!

Mag,
DCL Events and the Midwest Renaissance Festival are in no way connected with Festivals, Inc or Mr. Greg Schmidt.  2009 will be the 2nd year of Midwest Renaissance Festival at Scary Acres, both MRF and Scary Acres are owned and operated by Mr. Don LeSole.

Midwest Ren Fest was born when Festivals, Inc moved out after having their festival there for a number of years, from what I've learned.

So yes, MRF is a new festival in the Omaha area and one I hope will grow and become a must see on everyone's list.

Thanks for asking and clarifying!
Emerald

Emerald:

No .. thank you for clearing that up.  Not a problem, just wanted to make sure I didn't have duplicate entries in the database.  I will go ahead and add the new faire!
