Cormamin lindua ele lle!!
I am Amras Ancalime' Elfwine, and I come to you in the spirit of good and curious times as the new Moderator of this Forum. I hope to keep the Spirit of what Master Calith started many years ago intact here. It is in that light that I bid you all enjoy this space, and use it as a tool of learning, entertainment and wisdom, as well as a place to further understanding and goodwill between elfkind and others.
I bid you all peace!
Lissenen ar' maska'lalaith tenna' lye omentuva,

Me govannen,Amras mellonamin!!
Hisenna!
I am quite sure the student can continue to maintain the path provided by his mentor! :D
Cheers to you, my friend!
My thanks to you both...my elven side calls to me most strongly of late, I know not why...perhaps a reaction to personal losses recently suffered. Bonnie, as our soveriegn, you have permanent seat upon our council...and Trillium, I ask, smiling and with outstretched arms, that you accept a seat at the Elven Council as a reperesentative of the fae folk, ever linked to elves. I know of no one with a more fae-soul than you!
Yes, we half-elves know how to hug... 8)
I am most honored, my friend!
Mae govannen! Nae saian luume', mellon.....
Huzzah to the good fellowship found here! I am most pleased to be a part of the elven council! Grammercy!
*sprays Elven Glade everywhere to freshen up the place!*
mmmm. piney!
The elves are TOO Quiet! Perhaps the piney scent will make them chat a bit more?
I'd chat, if there appeared to be anyone to chat with. :( Where have all the other elves gone?
I tried to get some conversation going a little while ago, but there were very few replies. I am not too good at starting conversations, I guess.
I am going to Scarborough faire this weekend! Perchance I shall see some elves there!
The elves are nearly as quiet and reclusive as the wizards!
Mae Govvanen, all...I seem to have been waylayed, but have been rescued yet again. I shall attempt to keep myself from the need of rescuing in the future...
Spring is upon us here, and the forest grows greener and more active...a good time for elves.
*releases the bag of ferrets in the Elven Glade*
*looks around in consternation as the ferrets all vanish in seconds*
*shrugs* They'll be back when it's time for crunchies...
...more fun that a bag of ferrets...
WHEEEEE!!!!
Time to chase to the ferrets!!
DOOK, DOOK!!!!
I caught a ferret! - er- what do I do now? Ferret catching is good sport for elves!

Just make sure they can't reach your feet! They're little toe nippers, to be sure!
Not the feet! My feet are small enough without the toes nipped! Who wants a ferret? Its a cute one and fast too! I think I'll stick with kitties!
*Begins setting net to catch ferrets*
Who let those loose in here? *jumps as one scurries past*
As long as they all get taken home at the end of the day, I'm happy. No invasive species in the Glade, please! :)
In the mean time, it gives us something to talk about/entertain ourselves with, so...
*jumps on a ferret and catches it*
What ARE we supposed to do with them once we catch them? Maybe I can teach it a trick?
*tries to get the ferret to stand up on command, but it just runs away again, giggling in ferret fashion*
I think I prefer my cat as well, your highness. :)
I love ferrets...time to play!
A ferret in a tuxedo emerges from the underbrush and starts its companions setting up tables with nibblies and drinks. "We are NOT an invasive species, madam. We are, in fact, very civilized. The domestic ferret cannot survive in the wild. That is, without nibblies and drinks, of course."
*He looks shiftily from side to side, steals a nearby shiny object, and then disappears into the underbrush once more."
Huzzah to civilized ferrets- especially when they have drinks and appetizers! Love the white tie and tails!
*Sips a glass of champagne and nibbles on a caviar canape!* Yummy! I love ferrets!
*a purple ferret with tiny green wings scurries behind the tuxedo clothed ferret squeeking*
"Dook dook squeeky squeek chirp!!"
(Bring back my shiny!)
Well, if you're not an invasive, then you are quite welcome to play in the Glade. :) My apologies.
*hides a few more shineys for the ferrets to find*
What do you like to eat? I would like to get you all a treat, to make up for my offense.
*shrugs and eyes the ferrets who are busily consuming h'ors doeuvres and stealing shiny things and periodically disappearing and reappearing in the Glade*
I don't think they're easily offended, Ellenare. :) Maybe Jeeves the tuxedo ferret just thought he would use that opportunity to educate us? *giggles* They seem to like raisins, though!
*Elennare returns to the Glade, after having been gone for some time*
I have rasins! Who wants some?
*sets down a silver bowl shaped like a collection of grape leaves, full of rasins*
Sorry I was gone so long. It took me forever to remember where I stuck that bowl, but I thought it would be perfect to use to give the ferrets a treat.
*looks around*
oh dear. I seem to have chased everyone away again.
:'(
Perhaps we can get some elves to appear with mead and honey cakes? Tis quiet here!
Mead...did someone say mead and honey cakes? I'm here!!! Just quiet.
Elves do make wonderful mead!
It is very quiet in here. Time to dance! Everyone wake UP!!!
I'm always up for mead and dancing!!!!
One does seem to lead to the other! LOL!

One does seem to lead to the other! LOL!
And sometimes, both are done together. *has been a plastered pirate from time to time. :) *
Oooh, I like mead! While we're drinking, I'll have to see if I have time to dig through my books and find some good Elven tales to share. Might take a little while, but I did find the books. :)
So...we've got dancing, mead...and gonna have stories!!!!
*Found my mushroom to perch on*
I am eating mushrooms! Good sauteed with white wine, herbs and garlic- in butter of course!
Stories would be nice! Music too! I love dancing barefoot!
Stories? I may not be a wine connoisseur, but stories about pirates, elves, and our faerie brethren are always interesting and insightful.
A thousand sunrise greetings to all...apologies for my absence from the glade, but health has been a concern, and I did not wish to burden you all with it...now, the strength returns, the bow is tuned, and the eyes seek light as water seeks the pool...
I travel now in the Western realms, but upon my return next week, we shall tend this glade, rejoicing in our sylvan fellowship and treasuring the strength of your friendship.
Let this, then, be a new beginning.
Lacho calad! Drego morn!
Well returned, Amras. Hoping your health holds well and you may find your quarry.
Take care in the Western realms. I have seen many a good soul turn bad in those uncharted lands. They have a way of luring you in with their promises of wealth and happiness, only to change face and send you home with no coin to speak of. Keep your wits about you, and never ever visit the realm called Las Vegas in the season of the hottest sun. :P
Mae Govannen, Melonamin!
Again, I ask forgiveness and indulgence. I have been away much too long.
I see that it has been almost 4 years since activity crossed these woodland forest boards.
A question to my Elven family: Is there interest in maintaining a presence here, or shall we cross into the Grey?
If you wish to keep a forest home, I shall do my best to maintain it for us.
Let me know.
You have my knife, my bow and my bodhran. The bodhran will be enough. 8)
Slainte mhath!!

The forest, it heals deep wounds. The deeper the wound, the deeper the forest needed.
The rustling calls me. Healed, indeed.
You have my knife, my bow and my bodhran. The bodhran will be enough.
