This is the one I have been using, about a year old.

WOW really nice machine. Congrats! One thing I've found with machines like this (I have the Singer C-100) is that they don't do blackwork at all. They do normal embroidering really nice but not blackwork, which is what I bought mine to do. :'( Enjoy your new machine!

I've noticed a good many here prefer Brother over Singer for this price range of machines. My curent is a Singer, but I may be looking for a replacement soon. Glad to see this one has good feedback.

Can you use one of those button hole features to make a tiny one and use it sort of as an eyelet? That would really be a bonanza.
Congratulations! I am confused though...you and Master James mentioned that you use this for embroidery? Is it a separate device? I see nothing in the model information suggesting it does or is capable of doing embroidery, I probably missed something.
And what embroidery software would you use?

amy, I think it would make one of the button holes, like the key hole, small enough for an eyelet. I will work with it this weekend and let you know.
Cilean, it has some small embroidery type stiches programed in it. Such as something like this
-*-*-*- it also has a straight line vine or fern frond, greek key, etc....
It isn't a progamable machine but you can buy and embroidery foot and free hand embroider with it. For me right now it's all I need.
