Title: Camping at Scarb
Post by: dream_keeper on May 15, 2008, 03:25:17 PM
I was told there was a park nearby for camping, but am having trouble locating it. Any help?

I have heard a few people taking about lake Bardwell.  I've never camped there and don't know how close it is.  That's the only place I've heard about.

Yes, Lake Bardwell is where most people that go to Scarby camp.

Here is a link that tells more about it:  http://www.recreation.gov/recAreaDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&recAreaId=492&agencyCode=130

Here is the link to the Lake Bardwell web site:  http://corpslakes.usace.army.mil/visitors/projects.cfm?Id=M200930

I'm rebuilding the Scarby Info thread that Genta has originally created. It will contain the camping info and other stuff. I'll be working on it next week while I'm bored on a business trip.
