Thanks renfairephotog, for a great "this day in history" story. The time really does fly ... and it will be ironic, of course, if Paul winds up being the sole surviving Beatle after the rumors born from this album cover.

When I went to visit Steve's parents in England in 1977, Steve used to live in London, so he knew exactly where to go.
I took pictures of the sign, but no pictures of us walking back and forth across the road, which I made him do. And not barefoot. He's British, for heavens sake!
