I believe Emerald announced in another thread that this one had to be cancelled this year. The website is also showing that information.

OH bummer.  Now at least for a year I am closer to a lot of the midwest faires.  I was told there is a 3 weekend piratefest at the St Louis faire site, so I plan to attend at least one weekend.

If you're just now getting in the area and starting your year, you would have already missed this one for this year.  However, if you're in the St Louis area, you're only about 4 hours from KCRF, which runs September 3—October 16.  It's closer to St Louis than MoRF in Neosho.

There is also a pirate fest here in Omaha the last weekend of this month, then the Des Moines faire starts and runs the month of September.

Those are a bit far for me, but there is the pirate fest in Wentzville the last 3 weekends of September.
