Title: In Search of this Lace Trim
Post by: Lady Ann of Draycott on May 08, 2008, 03:47:30 PM
I posted this in the other forums right before it went away so, here we go again!

I really love the lace trim that is shown in this picture and I've been trying to find some like it or similar to it but haven't had much luck.  I live in a really small town and the only place to get fabric and trim here is a WallyWorld.  :P

Anyone seen any lace like this?  Know where I could get some like it?  THANKS!!!  ;D

Try Cheep Trims (http://www.cheeptrims.com/store/default.asp).  That's where the Baroness sent me when I was looking for fancy lace like that.

You could also try Lace Heaven. I just ordered some frogs and cotton lace from them. The prices were good but I haven't recieved the order yet so can't vouch for the quality or service.

I have been very lucky to find nice needlaces at JoAnn's. They do range in price of $5 a yard or more. The 40% coupons do come in handy however.

Here is the lace I used on Wrist ruffs when I did M,QoS. The lace is stiff and stands up well when gently washed.  (http://thumb9.webshots.net/t/58/158/9/31/28/2986931280025619629wauPmV_th.jpg) (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2986931280025619629wauPmV)
