What: Virginia Renaissance Faire 2009 New Cast and Scripted Cast
Auditions
Where: Lake Anna Winery, 5621 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA
When: Saturday March 14 from 10 am-12 pm, 1 pm - 3 pm
Sunday March 15 from 1 pm - 3 pm
What: Second Set of Virginia Renaissance Faire 2009 New Cast and
Scripted Cast Auditions
Where: C. Melvin Snow Library, 8740 Courthouse Rd., Spotsylvania,
VA, 22553
When: Saturday March 21 from 12:30-3:30
The auditionees should prepare a short monologue and song (bringing
notes to read off of are fine) and should be ready to perform a brief
improvisational exercise. Before the auditionee leaves the audition,
they will learn whether they will be invited to join the cast of the
Virginia Renaissance Faire, what guild they will rehearse with, and a
basic idea of what type of character they will play. Further, anyone
trying out for a scripted role will be asked to read selections from
the script.
