I want to go ahead and make an early call on the June gathering.
The Lovely Lady Trinn will be celebrating her 40th birthday this year and I can't think of a better way to do just that than with as many friends as possible.
We are thinking of making it a themed party... probably a Fiesta!
Also making sure ya'll know that we will be short on space this time with the (hopeful here) crowd we are expecting. The few places we have were pretty much called as soon as the idea for the party was stated. There is tent room available of course... it's a rennie thing I know.
Party Details will be coming later, just be ready for a summer blowout on June 27th (Her bday is actually the 26th, but this is the first Saturday after).
*She likes GOOD beer (that means no swill in a can) and Tequila instead of rum btw... for those who tend to shop early lol*
Wait....back up a second...Trinn is going to be 40!?! Teach, is all that rum messing with your head because there is NO WAY Trinn can be 40! There must be a misprint on her drivers license. Someone's made a mistake.

Remember we are in a regular type neighborhood so the loudness would have to cut down some by like 10 or 11... at least outside the house
The theme of the party is pretty fluid at the moment... sort of a rennie/feista/scottish/weird thing going on right now.
The main underlying theme has not changed one iota though... Lady Trinn's Summer Birthday Bash!

Mmmm, well...Depends on how I'm doing on bills and if I'm moved into an apartment/house by then and if I'm settled in a maybe new job.

Just wanted to remind everyone to make plans for June!
For those who don't know why I want this such a big deal it is this:
Lady Trinn's parents are artists, nothing wrong with that but every year growing up there was an art show going on at the time of her birthday. Because of that it was often overlooked and never really made a big deal over. Added to that, having a birthday in the summer time means you never get to have friends for a party anyway.
As she got older, she never had parties etc. for her birthdays until recently when I made sure there was a nice one for her a couple years ago.
This one... is special in many ways. The biggest is the age though. This is her 40th birthday and I want her to truly be overwhelmed with well wishers. Truly, gifts are not required... your presence is the present she wants. This year above all... she gets to be the center of attention. There is no art show, her friends are year-round now (not school year based lol) and there are many many people who truly want to help her celebrate her 2nd 20th birthday. A real milestone for my Love, and I cannot wait to see the numbers that can make it.
Speaking of numbers...
Our house is small, based on that sleeping space is extremely limited. Unfortunately we have already confirmed with the first out of town types to ask that they have space. Next best option is a hotel which is very close to us (about a mile and a half). If people want I can see about setting up a group thing there for the rates. We do apologize, we just ran out of floor space very fast when I first announced this.

OK Folks... We are just over a month away and at this point I need to start gathering stuff for the party and am needing a firm(ish) head count.
Food will be provided (you can bring a side dish if you'd like of course)
There will be rum of course, but it is BYOB. There will be sodas and such but anything stronger you might like to bring it totally up to you.
For those coming from a distance, let me know and I will find the closest and cheapest places to stay. Unfortunately we are limited on space currently, but next year we will have tons of room at the new place!
I'll start a running count on the first page of this thread starting from this point!

RenRobin, She likes GOOD beer is the easiest way to explain it. Guinness is a safe option. Stella is the bottom of the barrel for her.
Based on the amounts of alcohol coming combined with what is already here though... if that is what you want to get her for a gift, only bring a small amount like a 6-pack. I think some of the beer in the fridge is still leftover from the NYE party. There was a LOT of booze that night. Killian is the exception on that rule because it's homemade yummyness lol
