Title: Wheelchairs?

Does anyone know if the VARF has wheelchairs?? I'd like to bring my friend, but she's laid up right now.  :P

You would have to provide your own.  They do not have a wheelchair rental onsite.  Also, it is a "soft" site.  Mostly mowed grass and some gravel paths.  No hard paths like at Mt. Hope, PA.

I have seen lots of wheelchairs successfully navigate the site over the years, to include scooters; so don't let my "soft site" description disuade you from attending.  A lot of patrons have successfully navigated the shire with wheeled conveyances.

There is a cast member in a wheelchair this season.

And if we see anyone having trouble (gravel, slope, etc.), the White Knights (safety and security) are glad to help out!
