I have no idea if anyone was planning to travel with their pets, but I just discovered yesterday that this year they are allowing DOGS ONLY.
Over the years, we've seen everything from snakes to ferrets to parrots to goats on the fairgrounds, so I was surprised (and disappointed!) to see the change, and thought I'd make a note of it.
And for anyone who does plan to bring their dog, you'll have to register them at the Will Call booth at either gate. The fee is $10 per dog, and you'll need vaccination records and the contact info for your veterinarian.
