Our local SCA chapter will be hosting a Demo on the grounds of Kentuck on Saturday, June 20 from 10-4. There will be a variety of craftspeople and demonstrations, as well as a demo on SCA combat. I'm also excited about the "garage sale" which will feature garb and various other items donated by SCA members who no longer have a need for them. There may even be some live weapons demos and a chance to shoot the armored fighters with rubber tipped "combat" arrows. It would be great if any of you could come out and help make this Demo a success! Look for me to be demonstrating medieval hair braiding!
