FAIRE INFO
Web site:  http://www.kyrenfaire.com (http://www.kyrenfaire.com)

Hours are: 10am – 7pm
Located @ 955 Elm St. Eminence KY, 40019

Driving Directions to KYHRF:
From Lexington or Louisville: I-64 to Exit 35 (Shelbyville Exit). Turn north towards Shelbyville. (You'll pass a Cracker Barrel on the right) Travel north on Hwy 55 for 12 miles or so when you will reach Eminence. In Eminence turn right onto HWY 22 (Look for the Dairy Queen and turn Right onto 22). Drive half a mile. Venue is on the right across from Southern States. The drive for the venue is gravel and surrounded by fence.

From North: Take I-71S to Hwy 421E (Exit 34) to Hwy 55S through New Castle then Left onto Hwy 22 in Eminence.

I also would like to remind everyone coming that cash is not accepted by the food/drink vendors.  You MUST buy "coins of the realm" in order to purchase food and drink.  There are TWO locations available:

1. Right outside the front gate where we will assemble for the "Pilgrimage to the Pub"
2. Right next to the pub

I would suggest getting them BEFORE you go in for the simple fact that if you don't, you will have to stand in a line of other M'Cracks to get them THEN get your Guinness ;)

Excellent job, no one will ever realize you're a new cruise director!

We'll be coming in too late on Friday evening to make the meet-n-greet but look forward to seeing everyone at the hotel and the faire.

Also, you may add Rook'n M'Crack (the tallest Leapus) to the list of attendees.

Huzzah!

Okies, I NEED to know who is interested in camping ASAP.  Hamish needs a head count.  You cannot camp without being registered first.  If I get no response, I will assume there is no interest.  Thanks!

Can you turn them back in if you don't use them all and get your money back?  This will make a big difference on how many people will get at a time.

If you can't exchange them for cash at the end of the weekend just stop by my booth before you leave and I'll do it for you. We have to eat and drink to. Plus I except the coins for merchandise anyway. I can cash them in on Sundays after the faire closes. Just incase the answer is no.

Lucy, please don't forget the Chieftains Toast at 3 PM.......

Tradition and time to make announcements in case anything has changed for the evening event.

Also, since 11:00 for the photo is so close to Opening Gate and then we have the Parade (Pilgrimage to the Pub)......maybe we just allow everyone to get a full pint and then get the picture as quickly as possible before they all filter away to do other stuff.   Then they won't have to be back until 3.

I'll see you all this weekend...I demand hugs. :(

On behalf of the M'Cracks who traveled from Fairhaven to Briarwood this past weekend, a very big thank you!

The fair is fun, but the true gem is found within its people. Hammish and his lady, Tinker and Belle, and of course Lucy! An excellent time from Friday night meet-n-greet till Sunday's end.

Looking forward to future gatherings!

To one and all, we from Texas had a grand time. I personally wanted to thank everyone for making us feel welcome as this is one of the first times we have been able to meet our east coast family members. The hospitality and warmth was a grand thing to us from across the Miss. There are already talks as to what we can do next.
I sincerely hope we get to do this and other faires in the future. Look forward to those who can make it to Texas for TRF and Scarby next year.

Hugs and kisses to all of our Kentucky cousins! You provided us with an excellent adventure, as always, and we love you for it. It was so wonderful to see all of our old friends and family, and then we had the added bonus of meeting four of our cousins from Texas, who we learned to love, very quickly. I hope to see you all, again, very, very soon.

Thank you again, for a wonderful weekend!

I agree one hundred and ten percent with what our Lord High Chieftain said and I would like to add that I have never been to a faire where I was treated better, taken care of and entertained as well as with all of you. Thank you Lucy for coordinating it. Thank you Hamish for everything. A very special thank you to the Ohio clan members for making an ol' Texas boy feel pretty darn special. The food was great, The vendors were friendly and reasonable, The shows and cast were outstanding. Even the trip up and back was made tolerable by the company I was with. I cannot say enough good things about this last weekend and my clan. See you guys at the least next year and hopefully sooner at a Texas event.

Thanks to all my Kentucky cousins for a fantastic time!  A great time was had and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The Saturday night gathering ROCKED!  Thanks again for everything.  Here are the pictures that I took this weekend for your enjoyment.  http://community.webshots.com/album/578109999NAXGqK

And from the Public Relations department of the Ohio clan, we too think we did a pretty slam dunk job in making sure the Texas contingent left smiling... ::)
